Emotions are so tied to eating, for me. I almost got into a fist fight with my step son this morning. I feel like eating the world right now...

I have been on the Adkins diet for the past several months, lost 20 pounds, recently switched to eating low fat... But have cheated several days in the past week so I have to get my will power back before I start gaining weight back.

I've lost 31 pounds doing the Ketogenic way of eating. It's close to Atkins.

Emotions are so tied to eating, for me. I almost got into a fist fight with my step son this morning. I feel like eating the world right now... When, I get angry ... I tend to eat more the rest of the day to feel good about myself and that's not a good thing to do. I have to remind myself to control my anger and that's not an easy thing to do. I know that and done that at one time - I got so angry that I went out to my nearest pizza joint and ate a large pizza by myself and feel bad 24 hours after that. I had to workout extra harder after that and that's not a pleasant thing to do either.

I hit my new low in over 17 years at 184.8.
April 18th 217.8 Sept 16th 184.8
33 pound loss. My goal is 180 but I will see if I want to hit 175.

I'm down to 247 and with Water Polo heating up in a week - I should get down to 240 in a month from now. We'll be playing 2 matches a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. When, I do get down to 240; I'm going to hold it there for a month and then get down to 230 and that's my goal and then a year later get down to 220 and once I hit 220 that would be my weight when I just got out of College and that's what I'm aiming for. So, I got 27 pounds to lose in 1.5 years from now. Slowly and Maturely.

I'm on vacation this week and I will receive a test of will. Usually when my inlaws come from Chile to visit , it involves lots of vodka. I just have to keep myself under 190 until I return to work next Monday.
I am currently 32 days under 190.

Weighed in at the hospital to find I am down to 309 from 375 when I had surgery, so have shed 66 lbs since April. I was at 329 last weigh in a month or so ago.

Just checking in. I got back under 190 today (187.6) after hosting my brother in law in my home. He and his wife are presently on a week long cruise so I have to watch myself when they come back this Sunday. I still want to get to 180 , even with the holidays looming.
