Marvel released a freebie Jessica Jones comic (digital only I think) by Bendis and Gaydos that promotes the Netflix series. The comic is similar in tone to the DD TV series (and the TV daredevil makes a brief appearance in the comic), so if the show follows suit, it just adds to my anticipation for this.
I read the comic on Marvel Unlimited, but I think anyone can get it on the Marvel site for those interested.

I hope they release those in floppies. It was only like an 8 or 10 page story so I doubt it will be released in print by itself. -M

Supposed to be unleashed today... It was. I took a vacation day (because I never use any, I've got at least 12 "use or lose" vacation days left), and I've watched 3 episodes so far. It's very, very good.

I thought it was awesome. Best thing to come out of the MCU yet.

I just finished the last episode. Strong stuff. I have to applaud everyone involved for being willing to tackle subjects that no other superhero franchise would touch and doing it in a way that maintains the maturity of the series it's based on.

I just finished the last episode. I'd recommend the series to folks who are on the fence. It is however, probably even darker in tone than the Daredevil series, so you've been warned.
Our social media (and traditional media) culture is too saturated with spoilers. One of my main motivations for binge-watching was fear of spoilers. If I could magically shield myself from spoilers, I probably would've spread my viewing out over a few weeks.

I watched the first episode last night. Not quite what I was expecting. I had a hard time getting into the story, but I am going to give it a shot. I am not very familiar with Jessica Jones (I know her basic story from the comics). So far, it seems much darker than Daredevil. Kind of noir vibe to the show, especially the opening credits.

I know nothing of the character. I'm only three episodes in. So far o an say it's wellade and looks good. Decent performance. A good intriguing main storyline. However I dislike every character in the show so far with exception of Luke cage. And even he's not made that likeable or interesting so far. and whoever made this would seem to really hate men or made it for anyone who does. We'll see if I end up liking it more than I do right now. But now the only thing keeping me watching is the purple man element.

Liking the main plot. Hating the subplots. Hoping they fade away as I get farther in. Can't wait for Agent Carter to come back so we can have something in-between the extremes of this and Supergirl.
