I'm not a huge fan of the character, but I have faith that Marvel and Netflix will pull this off.

I am a huge fan of the original Alias series, and really looking forward to this after Netflix did a fabulous job with Daredevil (right up to the DD costume reveal!)

Luke Cage is supposed to be introduced in this series, then Iron Fist in the Luke Cage series.
However, I suspect his introduction will go light on the butt sex angle.

Never really followed JJ in the comics, but I'm interested in seeing how this turned out. Something I'm curious to see how they handle is how much the various Marvel Netflix shows overlap in time, and how much or whether they will acknowledge the other heroes, especially since they are all supposed to share the same basic setting (Hell's Kitchen/Manhattan). With the Avengers and Agents of SHIELD, the characters exist in their own respective spaces such that it's entirely possible to have each movie or series not have to deal with interacting with the others. But given the close geographic proximity of Daredevil, JJ, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, it would be strange to not have the characters react to the events of the other shows. The episode of Daredevil where Fisk bombs four different buildings while taking out the Russian mobsters -- you'd think at least one of the other shows would have to acknowledge an event of that magnitude. Especially since the bombings and police shootings were originally pinned on Daredevil, you'd think that those events would have spurred Danny Rand or Luke Cage to try to take down the devil of Hell's Kitchen.

Not sure if they will follow up on it, but in an early episode of Daredevil, the door window of the office across the hall from Nelson & Murdoch was partially visible for a brief moment and said Alias Investigations. Not sure if it was just an Easter egg, or if they are going to use the set up of them sharing an office building.

I'm not sure that I've read a single comic with Jessica Jones in it. But I'm looking forward to the series for two main reasons. Daredevil turned out well. But more importantly, Krysten Ritter is a brilliant actress. I know her mainly from Breaking Bad and Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23. She plays very two different characters in those shows, and is great in both.
