I have been experiencing some forum glitches this morning...the page no loading the most recent version, so threads that have been posted in are not at the top, long lag times for the page to load, when I posted in the what have you purchased lately thread only part of what I had types showed up, when I went ot edit it to add the stuff it missed I got a message saying the post you are looking for does not exist, etc. etc. Likely something on the proboards end, but it has made navigating the site and participating frustrating this morning. Not sure if anyone else is having the same issues....

I was having problems last night. I logged out and logged back in and it cleared them up for me. Don't know if it will work for anyone else or not.

My beef about this forum is when you start on page 1 of any thread and at the bottom of the thread you click on next and it's doesn't always move to the top of the thread unless you scroll it yourself. Why is that?
It's very frustrating for me to do this and I just wonder why PROBOARDS hasn't thought about that?

It always goes to the top of the next page for me. It might be something in the settings/preferences you have chosen in your profile, not sure. Could also be the browser you are using and the way it functions. Again not sure, but it's not something that is universal to Proboards, as it isn't happening for me.

I get that same thing with Safari and Firefox on my Mac, but when I use Chrome on my phone it goes to the top of the page.

Chrome on two computers - Chromebook and Windows 7 for this and it's quite annoying to see this when I click on the bottom to go to the next page of the thread. I don't use Safari, Firefox, and any other browser here - except Google Chrome.

I use Chrome and have no issues with this, as I said earlier, so not sure where the problem lies. It's not Proboards itself, or the browser then.

I just assumed that's just how it was on proboards but apparently not. I've gotten into the habit of using the Home button on my keyboard to take me to the top of the next page.

The answer is because it isn't a Proboards issue. Proboards does not provide the opportunity to move to another page at the bottom of a screen at all. I had to do a heck of a lot of custom coding to put that in myself, and I am not a coder. I'm aware that it takes some users to the bottom of the page instead of the top, and I'll be damned if I know why or how to fix it. I spent days on it back in May and simply don't have any more time to devote to it.

I'm using Firefox and it keeps dropping me at the bottom of the page.

Might have something to do with an out of date plug-in as opposed to the browser itself.
