I agree.. but it is a full address... someone locally could surely figure out if that address is legit, and, if so , probably find out if such a person actually existed.
It's too bad no one here has some sort of personal connection... that would make a great History Detectives segment.
Edit: Not much luck on Google. The address is legit, but the name is too common to hit anything search-wise.. especially with a common first name as a last name.

Though they did give his address, so maybe not...

Could be, but with the full address.. doesn't seem like that was a particular concern. What we need is someone who lives in LA and is good at research

For myself I like Falcon at Marvel, and Hawkgirl at DC. I really dislike the whole kid sidekick thing, would you approve of your kids being paraded around in tights in front of a collection of psychopaths? As for the likes of the Teen Titans, I think they all became much more interesting as they "graduated", Robin is far better as Nightwing(one of my favourite DC characters) and the same goes for Wally, much better when he became The Flash. With Donna Troy, they became some of DCs better and more interesting characters in a long time, so of course they all ended up being grossly mistreated and/or misused(Wally West anyone?). Loathe Rick Jones, Marvels generic kid, they couldnt even come up with a different person for each hero, just job-shared that schmuck. On the subject of loathe, throw in that idiot Snapper Carr.

I certainly understand this viewpoint. It definitely is NOT realistic. But I prefer my comics to be an escape from the real world. The more fantastic the better. Anyone dressing up in tights to fight crime is crazy. Sidekicks just add another dimension to the stories that wouldn't work in the real world.

1. Arthur from The Tick 2. Woozy Winks 3. Bat-Mite 4. Jimmy Olsen 5. Kato 6. Otis - More of a stooge than sidekick, but close enough
Costumed sidekicks seemed fairly redundant to me. Not falling below a level of competency enabling them to be comedic, they also never achieved a level of skill that let them accomplish anything more than that which their hero couldn't do solo.
So yeah, I guess I prefer Bat-Mite to Robin though I don't quite understand how that works. I mean, Robin often encountered those situations where he simply didn't know what to do without Batman's assistance and therefore had to wonder if he just cost his mentor his life - these stories I found interesting - but in general, he was basically there to handle Batman's leftovers and watch and learn. In general for Bat-Mite however, his role was to turn straightforward crimes into something surreal.
In The Tick's world, Arthur is not only the most vulnerable guy around, but also the sanest. You kind of get the feeling that without him, The Tick's world would likely just spin off its axis and fly into the sun. He's kind of like a real life person being thrown into the world of Bugs Bunny and realizing that his life could easily end at any moment but has no idea how to communicate this fact to anyone. Being first voiced by Micky Dolenz of The Monkees doesn't hurt either.
Woozy Winks - Unlike Plastic Man, he never really lost his con artist ways. You often get the feeling that those acts of selflessness he displays are the act of a guy who'd rather do something for himself but is too lazy to figure out what.
Jimmy Olsen is Superman's sidekick simply because he thinks he is. It never occurs to him that his idol doesn't really need his help but the subject never arises due to Jimmy being a nice enough guy to not stand around and tell Superman "You're welcome" whenever he's done what he thinks he's done.

He's right there with Wulf for me. I was so happy when Wagner used him as the focal point to bring Johnny back. Anyone else and it would have felt wrong. On the other hand, I hates the Gronkses with all my heartses.

Etta Candy. The REAL Etta Candy, who worked with the REAL Wonder Woman. Woozy Winks is a close second. I like the Falcon, but he's a "partner" in my mind, not a side-kick. He even shared top billing!
