#16 RobinAlter Ego - Dick Grayson First Appearance Detective Comics #38 (April 1940) Golden, Silver, and Bronze Ages Costume Features that I like the mostSharply dressed, nice use of Green, Red, and Yellow. I just loved the Yellow Cape, the Green Gloves and Boots and most importantly he wears a Red Vest with the letter R circled that stands out with the R in Yellow. Quite Functional and it's appropriate for a Teen Wonder during the Silver Age of Comics. Pictures of Robin the Teen WonderBurt Ward played Robin in Adam West's series in the 60's and played the part just beautifully! Robin and Batgirl here attending a Teen Titans meeting. Long Time Partner of Batman - The Dynamic Duo of Gotham City

#15 Mister MiracleAlter Ego - Scott Free First Appearance Mister Miracle # 1 (April 1971) Bronze Age Costume Features that I like the mostMy favorite Jack Kirby work in DC Comics - This is the Best of the Best; beautifully drawn and great use of Red, Yellow, and Green here. Great Incorporation of Circles in his uniform and the neat Aero Discs; this thin metal plates about a foot across is an unique addition to his costume and it's bold, imaginative, and dynamic! Great Splash Picture of Mister MiracleHusband to Big BardaGetting close to my top 10 ...

I have a real soft spot for Silver Age Hawkgirl, probably because she was in the first issue of Justice League of America (#53) I ever read. In that issue she saved the necks of the JLAers (she wasn't a team member at the time). And a couple of years later she was featured on this exquisite Kubert cover.

#25 J'onn J'onzz, The Martian Manhunter I just wanted to quote this image because it's one of the very few times I've seen anything by Alec Ross that I liked, if it is him and not some other artist just reproducing his style. Not sure what makes the difference between this and almost everything else I've seen in this vein - perhaps the body language and the expression on the MM's face, all of which create an impression of purposefulness and potential action rather than the self-important posturing (as it looks to me) I usually associate with Ross's work.

#16 Robin This is actually my favourite Robin costume-the Neal Adams designed costume of the Dick Grayson of Earth Two (seen here being worn by the Earth One version). I just think it's a great update of the design, and best of all-no pixie boots!

Earth 2 RobinOne on the left is too Batman-like and I find this costume too weird to my taste and therefore I reject it for that purposes. One on the right - the one that you've pointed out is okay but that costume has too much yellow and that's why I feel differently about the Earth 2 designs of the past. I wasn't into Earth 2 during my younger days and therefore did not make the cut. Personally, both of them are a tad to extreme to my books and therefore would not be selected in my top 50 heroes.

Hawkgirl: I always liked her very stylish helmet. Also appreciated the partnership and relationship between her and husband. Costume is bright and colorful. Hawkman: Anyone with the confidence to fight crime bare chested is no one to be messed with. Again, the helmet is cool and the design on the boots keeps with the bird theme. I always liked when Hawkman was drawn going into battle, mace in hand and ready to fight. Robin: Another bright and colorful look. An opposite to the darkness of Batman. Robin and the Betty Kane Bat-Girl made a good pair with their matching colors. Wish they had been in more adventures together. I believe I read that George Perez was inspired by the Burt Ward costume when he started drawing New Teen Titans. I also like the Neal Adams Earth 2 design, although I don't care for the yellow leggings.

About, Neal Adams design - the yellow leggings was too much for me too.

I absolutely love Mister Miracle's costume, one of my all-time favorites. I love Mister Miracle's red, green, and yellow colors, and the costume looks mysterious (from the mask) and showman-like (from the over-sized collar).
I completely agree with tingramretro. The Earth-2 Neal Adams Robin costume he shows is my favorite of all the Robin costumes.

Exactly dbutler69, and that's the best work of Jack Kirby did in DC Comics ... Very Creative and Imaginative too!

#13 MaximaAlter Ego - Maxima, Princess from Blood Royale of Almerac First Appearance Action Comics #645, (September 1989) Bronze Age Costume Features that I like the mostGorgeous costume in Red, Yellow, and Green, very detailed and very well designed too. Fancy Shoulders, Free-Flowing Cape, and most importantly loved the use of yellow here. One of my favorite redheads in DC Comics and other one is Aquaman's wife Mera. I'm a sucker for a lady with Red Hair and Maxima is the top cat in DC Comics in terms of being one of the most fierce and determined friend and/or foe. Powerful and Commands a Presence too. Favorite Pictures of MaximaGood News for all Marvel FansI just finished selecting my TOP 50 MARVEL CHARACTERS from Golden, Silver, and Bronze Ages. I wasn't a full blown Marvel Fan back in my youth and today - but, I do read Marvel Comics when I do get a chance and I've came up with a list of 50 Characters and I'm doing it just like this thread. It will start 2-3 days after this thread is concluded.
