In trying to talk about character's most embarrassing moments, I've trying to find some scans from a story called "Batman, Babysitter" (or something like that). Bruce Wayne gets stuck babysitting his cousin's kid (this back in the Silver Age when Bruce Wayne seemed to have all kinds of relatives), and ends up having to take the kid with him as Batman. It features all kinds of silliness, such as Batman and Robin attempting to milk a cow in the middle of a field (exactly why the couldn' send Alfred to the store to buy milk is not clear). If anyone can find evidence of this tale, so I know that didn't imagine it, it would be greatly appreciated. It sounds like the story in last weeks Adventures of Superman (featuring 2 guest stars...). Also, why did none of these relatives take in orphaned young Bruce?

Did anyone ever do a story about how much permanent/cumulative damage Hal's head must have after all the times he'd been cracked in the skull and woke up in the future or in an alien zoo? You mean that's not what this was about...? -M Emerald Twilight... *shudders*

Why did none of these relatives take in orphaned young Bruce? One did. In the Silver and Bronze Ages, Bruce was raised by his father's brother Philip after the Waynes' murder. Cei-U! I summon the faux father figure!

Thanks, Trebor the Unconquered! We needed that somewhere on this forum!
And I read the synopsis for the Caveman Batman. Batman and Robin go back in time because somebody finds a cave painting that shows caveman and dinosaurs together!!!!
But it's no reason for the creationists to get excited. The dinosaur had been encased in ice for millions of years and the prehistoric crimefighter Tigerman had melted it out of its ice for one case.
Even Batman knows that evolution is true!!!

Hal Jordan vs the bar of soap Did anyone ever do a story about how much permanent/cumulative damage Hal's head must have after all the times he'd been cracked in the skull and woke up in the future or in an alien zoo? That at least explains the Geoff Johns years.

I summon the faux father figure! And Philip was a businessman who travelled a lot, so young Bruce was mostly raised by Philip's housekeeper Mrs Chilton. And, unknown to Bruce (although Alfred would later learn the truth), Mrs Chilton was the mother of Joe Chill!

I found it! Thanks Trebor! I can now rest easy knowing that this was not something my fevered imagination conjured up. The goddamn Batman milking a cow! How come we didn't see that in the Bark Knight trilogy?

No problem. It's amazing how easy it is the find the most obscure comic moment with Google nowadays.
I'd shave year off of my life just to see what this same scene would look like drawn by Jim Lee.
