Okay, but who's the guy in the hood with no hands? I believe he's called Symbolic Representation. He does not appear in the issue.

The Overlord probably wasn't as mighty as his name inclined us to fear The Overlord is one of two Super Friends foes I've always been absurdly fond of and wished had crossed over into the mainstream DC Universe (the other is the Menagerie Man). He appeared several times and was never conclusively defeated.

I believe he's called Symbolic Representation. He does not appear in the issue.Well, to be fair, you can't get more obscure than a character who never actually appeared.

Bronze Age Spidey at its finest here! Double obscure/crummy villain app here! Rocket Racer appeared earlier but Big Wheel makes his one and only appearance. Big Wheel dies this issue if I recall correctly, never to be heard from again until someone decided it was a hip enough concept to include in the 90's Spidey cartoon (which I must say I enjoyed that episode)

Big Wheel wasn't even original. From September 1952: NOTE: not a contest entry!

Silver Age Batman (or DC in general) is perfect for this theme. Although for all I know the Rainbow Creature has now become a regular in the Bat books. He's got a pretty respectable power though, even if it is a nearly impossible task for an artist to make something already two-dimensional look even more two-dimensional.. the old flattening effect works fair enough.

I just read this a few weeks ago in The Black Casebook. It's so awesome! I feel bad for Grant Morrison. He obviously loves these stories but it's heart-breaking that he's never written a Batman story half as good as your average Jack Schiff era Batman tale.

Sweet Christmas-Crimebuster and bert tempted me with those fly Luke Cage covers, but DubipR's dapper gorilla has to be the one.
