Love that Ms. Marvel costume. It's striking, sexy and very memorable. One of the best female costumes that Marvel have ever produced.

I never cared for Darkhawk until the Annihilation crossovers. I could never get into him, either.

#13 Ms MarvelAlter Ego - Carol Danvers First AppearanceMs. Marvel #1 (January 1977) Silver and Bronze Ages of Comics Costume Features that I like the mostTruly an awesome costume with the stylish gloves and boots with even more stylish insignia and on top of that a red stash that ties around her waist that makes the costume very sexy. Four Super Pictures of Ms. Marvel I liked that costume a lot but I actually preferred her original look (below). And just to be pedantic: while Ms Marvel did indeed debut in Ms Marvel #1, her alter ego Carol Danvers first appeared in Marvel Super-Heroes #13 in March 1968.

#15 PolarisAlter Ego - Lorna Sally Dane First AppearanceThe X-Men #49 (October, 1968) Silver and Bronze Ages of Comics Lorna is one of my all-time favorite characters! I love her classic green costume and its variants too--hate the Cockrum purple outfit, the yellow/blue outfit, and anything that's not green. The original costume, as designed by Steranko, is appropriate for someone who's being worshipped as a goddess (as in #50). And as mrjupiter pointed out, there's a gladitorial feeling to it as well. It's a great design, but I always thought it was odd that she'd be standing around in that get-up in the privacy of her own apartment, as shown at the start of X-Men #57. Yes, I get that it was done for storyline/dramatic purposes, but geez, she wasn't an official X-Men member or even a superhero known to the public at that point, so why would she bother getting into a cotume? Especially one that had been provided by Mesmero. And it looks like an awfully complicated costume to get into: halter top held together by a little clasp, the top part of the costume seemingly connected to the bottom by a thin strip of material, lace-up sandals, forearm gauntlets, a long cape! (why on earth would she need a cape???) and a headpiece. Wish Adams (#57) had modernized the costume a bit; instead he made it even fussier by adding gauzy, filmy arm pieces (instead of just the off-the-shoulder sleeves in the Steranko original). Lovely but impractical costume. Still, if Lorna liked this outfit, who am I too argue with her ? And she does look beautiful and goddess-like. The green hair is gorgeous. Note to Mecha: hope you will showcase another green-haired goddess, the Emerald Empress, in one of your threads (EE debuted about a year and a half earlier than Lorna, over at DC.)

I think one of the reasons Vision and the Scarlett Witch made a good couple in 70s/80s was their color scheme. Red and green go pretty well together.

#12 WolverineAlter Ego - James Howlett "Logan" First AppearanceCameo: The Incredible Hulk #180 (Oct. 1974) Full: The Incredible Hulk #181 (Nov. 1974) Bronze Age of Comics Costume Features that I like the mostThe Striking Combination of Blue, Black, and Gold altogether and most importantly - I just loved the boots that Logan wears and that Mask that he wears too. I prefer this look over the other brown, gold, and that red belt - that red belt doesn't fit well in the schemes of things and I'm not a fan of brown in comic book (uniform-wise) and sorry to say that to all of you here. Four Great X-MEN Pictures of WolverineRed Belt works here - not the other one above you! My Favorite Picture of Logan

She was an original and with her red hair and all - it's a favorite of mine and my favorite X-Men of all times! Love that Ms. Marvel costume. It's striking, sexy and very memorable. One of the best female costumes that Marvel have ever produced. The black one? I only seem to like it when Frank Cho draws it - unless someone else drew that panel where she's flying. But whoever does it, I agree that it's better than the original one based on the old Mar-Vell costume.

I'm guessing Forbush Man. Given the golden age Green Lantern made Number 1 on another, list, I'm guessing Captain Ultra.
