Krypto the Superdog, Supporting Character for Superboy and Superman and also Clark Kent too!First Appearance: Adventure Comics #210 A very loyal and dependable pet of Superboy and Superman over the years that spans several decades and have all the superpowers of Superman in a form of a dog that's been with Superboy/Superman side when he needs a sidekick at the right time. I adore Krypto in all forms and my favorite animated version is the modern version of Krypto the Superdog of which I will discuss that later on. A adorable mutt and a great friend to Superboy and Superman! First Meeting of Superboy and Krypto here. One of the earlier drawings of Krypto the SuperdogKrypto the SuperdogFirst Episode of Krypto the SuperdogCool Video Here.A fun cartoon and I just loved this cartoon when it's first came out and I was hooked by it; and it's my one of my nephews in his early 20's and we often watch reruns of this cartoon together. He also loved Ace the Bat Hound and all ite's worth. I was so disappointed that it's didn't have the longevity of Teen Titans and I was sad it was taken off the air after 2nd season was concluded. As Superdog says ...Yip Yip Yip!!!

Jimmy Olsen - Supporting Character for Superman / Clark Kent
One of the many things I love about Jimmy is the fact that no matter what happens to him during a given day - ie. transformed into a werewolf, Bizzaro-Jimmy, Bizzaro-Werewolf, whatever - he will never be late for work. "Jeepers! This potion seems to have changed me into a giant turtle. Oh well, I guess I'll just hope that the effects wear off someday. Jeepers! Is that the time?! I'm going to be late for work! Better use my Signal watch to call Superman to fly me there before Mr. White has a fit!"

This is one of the most bizarre one that I can think one ... Giant Turtle Man!
You are so right about Jimmy!

Krypto the Superdog, Supporting Character for Superboy and Superman and also Clark Kent too! Yeah, good call. I've always said it is fine to not like Krypto but that definitely means that you are a soulless monstrosity who gives mockery to all that is just and decent in the world.

As much as I love Krypto (and I do love Krypto!), my favorite moment for any of the super-pets is from Streaky's origin, where he overturns the milk truck so the hungry kittens can get some milk. Awww! Streaky is so sweet!
I hope Streaky makes the list!

I am digging this thread and learning about characters that seemed obscure to me, but I now find interesting.
Looking forward to the next entries.

Lana Lang Supporting Character to Superboy / Clark Kent / SupermanFirst Appearance: Superboy 10 Before I begin, I consider Lana Lang a Redhead because of these three pictures that I found in the internet. Please keep that in mind and this character was wrongfully misused in all TV Appearances. Hang in there and I will get to that in a minute or two here. Three Favorite Pictures of Lana Lang in DC Comics Basically she is a homely, attractive, and gentle girl who happen to have a thing for Superboy and having said that she was a friend of Clark Kent when they were at Smallville. I am very weak on this character and I did not pay much attention of this character when I was growing up reading comic books. I just wanted to tell you all here that she had a great love for Superboy it is evidenced by the 3rd picture that I shared with you here. Keep in mind, she was sort of a girlfriend to Clark Kent - but I consider her more a friend than a girlfriend - but she seems to be more in mind with Superboy and that's why I have mixed feelings about her. I tried in the past few days to figure out what she is really is but honestly this is all I can think of.

Lana Lang in Superman Movies with Christopher ReeveDiane Sherry - Superman the MovieShe had a total air time of 5-8 minutes and therefore I can't really grade her at all. Incomplete.Annette O'Toole - Superman IIIShe appeared in Superman III and did an okay job as Lana Lang and I did find her performance somewhat a mixed feelings and having said that I have to grade her a fair grade as her portrayal of Lana. I thought she was too corny and having said that - I'm totally loss of words here. Lana Lang in Lois and Clark - The New Adventures of Superman Emily Proctor - Better known as Calleigh Duquesne of CSI MiamiNo Comments and I was shocked to learn this three days ago and I had to add her photograph in the last minute and I consider her grade - Incomplete. I did not catch her on that show. Sorry Everyone! Lana Lang in SmallvilleKristin Kreuk This is the worst casting call of Smallville because - remember in my previous post that Lana Lang is a Redhead - Correct? Having said that, I just can't believe that CW Network hired her and I know that I will get a beating from you guys here and having said that - I'm giving her the same grade as Annette O'Toole here and that's all I have to say. I just can't stand her at all because she is a very pretty brunette who is actually playing Lana Lang - I have no problems having her playing Lois Lane of which she would be more suited for but Lana? Why in the world that they hire her in the first place?

YAY! LANA LANG! There are lots of great Lana Lang stories, mostly in the old Superboy stories in the Superboy comic and in Adventure Comics. But there's one that really sticks out in my mind just for being totally bonkers. She helped a weird alien and he gave her the power to turn into insects! So she became Insect Queen!

I still think of her as the hard nosed TV anchor for WGBS that she was when I first encountered her in the 70s. There was nothing gentle and homely about her then.

Lana Lang! A fun character especially when she appeared in the Lois Lane comic and the two of them battled it out over Superman with crazy schemes! Lana always seemed a bit more glamorous than Lois and didn't mind playing dirty to win Superman. Also, big fan of Krypto too! I enjoyed stories where he would appear and help Superboy or Superman. Enjoyed his appearances in the Superboy comic a few years ago when both he and Superboy lived with Ma Kent.

Leslie Thompkins Supporting Character of Bruce Wayne and BatmanFirst Appearance: Detective Comics #457 First of All: I want to get this off my chest first. I don't watch GOTHAM and therefore I don't have anything to say about Morena Baccarin who is Dr. Thompkins on that show. Morena Baccarin of Gotham A caring, decent, loving, and most importantly a dear friend to both Bruce Wayne and Batman for all the reasons for the world on a very personal level that's built on trust and understanding of each other. I know that they had their differences from time to time - but Batman adores her and most importantly she understands the pain that he's endures all his life and having said that it's heighten around Crime Alley and all the evilness that's exists there. I consider Leslie a more of Mother to him than a Doctor on a very private level that's far more personal than you think. I adore this character when I read Batman when I was growing up. She wears many jackets to Batman and that's why she made this list on her true MERITS alone - I adore her and that's pretty much sums up the decency of Dr. Leslie Thompkins. This picture above you is EXACTLY how I feel about her and the decency of her character to a very young Bruce Wayne that's consider her one of the most trusted ladies in Batman's life. He has tremendous respect for her and that's why I like her so much! Great Pictures BelowI loved Robin in this picture - But she's remains so professional as a Doctor that she really is. Most Powerful Scene in the life of Dr. Thompkins and BatmanNo words are needed to express the trust, the confidence, the love, and most importantly Batman respects her like no other lady in the world - they have a BOND that's can't not be broken.
