I want Namor to do his electric eel and puffer fish stuff, again.
I want Ben Grimm to eat ridiculous dagwoods.
Hal Jordan should wake up from a concussion suddenly in the future more often.
(And, because the last time I mentioned this online, I was told it was silly and old-fashioned) I want villains like the Wizard to mess with superheroes just to mess with them. Pure, unadulterated, unreasonable jealous because-&$(@*-that-guy.
What are some things that are often seen as silly, that you'd really like to see come back in comics?

I miss the good old-fashioned theme villains. I want crooks who will go a crime spree based on the days of the week, or nursery rhymes, or what have you.

incompetent sidekicks that get in the way both on the hero and villain side, bonus points if his name is Whitey
talking gorillas doing just about anything, blundering misunderstood aliens causing problems, dinosaurs that can talk and fly jets, and space kangaroos
superhero telethons and other charitable activities
needing a superhero friend to help out to prevent your secret identity from being exposed
Ambush Bug running amok, not on tv

Would that sell in 2014?

There's one old Superman story where he actually eats his costume and makes a reference to it "coming out just fine eventually."
Wait, no, I don't want THAT back.

Atomic Robo is outstanding. And has plenty of silly things.

Doesn't Grodd eat brains now in the Nu52? I don't really know if I want more of that.

He killed his dad (previous king) and began to eat his brains in order to absorb all its memories and knowledge. Meh, that doesn't really justify it for me. I prefer the classic refined, in control of his savagery Grodd. I think it was Geoff Johns that started the trend of making Grodd into an overly violent beast.
