No, no, I don't need your pity. I just need you guys to know that you suck. It's not supposed to be pity, it's supposed to be me doing you a solid! I changed my mind anyway. At this point I would totally take pity.

This is the scene that launched a thousand debates. I'm of the opinion that, Although Superman should win, It should have been a hard fought battle instead of a 8 panel knockout. I'm saying this as a big fan of both Thor and Superman. They had the same issue with Superman Vs. Hulk in DC Vs. Marvel. What deserved to be an epic battle of titans had to get short shrift in both cases because it just wasn't what the story was about.

To this day I'm still mad about the Wasp kicking the X-men's butts in Secret Wars. Still calling bs on that nonsense.

I remember in All Star Batman and Robin where Robin was busy painting the whole room in yellow, and then taking down Green Lantern and nearly killing him.

That DC guy who took down Batman seems to be based on much the same idea as Taskmaster; I think it's a bit of a cop-out: my power is that I can duplicate your particular skill, whatever it is. That's just as bad as Superman or the Hulk always being stronger than the other guy, or Batman always finding a way to win no matter what.
Which reminds me, Black Bolt is supposed to be one of the heavyweights of the MU but that usually seems to be used mainly to satisfy fans of more popular characters like the Hulk as we see in the sample shown above. Commercially savvy, perhaps, but disappointing and ultimately stupid on every other level.

As for Black Bolt, he is more powerful than the Hulk but in that story , the Hulk was fueled by rage.
