That DC guy who took down Batman seems to be based on much the same idea as Taskmaster; I think it's a bit of a cop-out: my power is that I can duplicate your particular skill, whatever it is. That's just as bad as Superman or the Hulk always being stronger than the other guy, or Batman always finding a way to win no matter what. Which reminds me, Black Bolt is supposed to be one of the heavyweights of the MU but that usually seems to be used mainly to satisfy fans of more popular characters like the Hulk as we see in the sample shown above. Commercially savvy, perhaps, but disappointing and ultimately stupid on every other level. yeah, I agree that Prometheus' power is not original. As for Black Bolt, he is more powerful than the Hulk but in that story , the Hulk was fueled by rage. Yeah, but when is the Hulk not fuelled by rage? It's pretty much become the fall-back for that character, part of his regular "power set" or whatever they call it.

The story was set up that He was fueled by the rage of losing his wife, son and the entire planet because of the Illuminati. He couldn't come down from the anger and he took it out on earths heroes.

Well, not to beat this to death, but here's the problem, as I see it: I can imagine the writer might have intended the story to be about the loss of Hulk's family and his anger against those he thought responsible, but because the Hulk is often - one might say almost always - in a rage about one thing or another, and because this rage is used time and time again as a means to make the Hulk as strong as he needs to be to defeat whatever opponent he happens to be fighting, it becomes just another story about the Hulk being "the strongest one there is".

Yeah, I don't disagree. It was a plot device t make Black Bolt "job" in this story. Interesting fact- This Black Bolt turned out to be a Skrull as revealed by the Illuminati Mini series that Started the Secret Invasion Event.
