You can look at a cover circa 1960-1990 and almost immediately tell who drew it.

...you've named one or more of your children after a comic book character. ...if you've ever driven an hour or more for the sole purpose of attending a comic book show/convention or checking out a comic shop you'd heard about (bonus nerd points if it's more than 3 hours). ...the only store you went shopping at on Black Friday was a comic book store (bonus nerd points if you hit more than one). ...you're over the age of 12 and own a shirt with a comic book character on it. Cumulative nerd points for each one owned greater than one. Youngest daughter is named after Supergirl. Gone to several cons that were 2 hrs away. Never go anywhere on Black Friday! I feel like Sheldon. Over 50% of my t shirts have comic book characters on them.

...you have worked in a comic book store.
...you classify periods in your life as the Golden Age, the Silver Age, or the Bronze Age.
...you have comic book artwork on your walls as decoration.
...your closet has more long boxes than clothing in it.
...you have sat in one of the Batmobiles.

If the number of longboxes you own is higher than your age, you might be a comic book nerd.
If you have a dartboard with Rob Liefeld's (among others) photo in the bullseye, you might be a comic book nerd.
If you insisted on having Fred Hembeck draw your family portrait, you might be a comic book nerd.
If you wear a cape to a job interview, you might be a comic book nerd.
If you know how many copies of Thor sold in 1974, you might be a comic book nerd.
If you know the color code for the blue part of Superman's costume in the 1982 DC Comics Style Guide, you might be a comic book nerd.

...you have sat in one of the Batmobiles. Sad to say this, I have worked in a Comic Book Store as a volunteer, had artwork on my walls as decoration, have long boxes that occupies half of my walk-in closet, and sat in Adam West's Batmobile and Micheal Keaton's Batmobile at one point in my life. It's true everyone ...
