Very impressive indeed . My son turned 22 a few months back . I've keep all his toys in bins under the stairs . I am sure one day he will appreciate it . Transformers , hot wheels , beanie babies , pokeaman cards , etc . All my toys were tossed by my parents when I was a teenager and we were moving to the city . Oh well at least my comics were saved . No real regrets . Nice talking to you have a good evening .

That's an interesting story. I have felt like I had some psychological need to amass things. I'm not a hoarder, it's specific things, and my interest in them comes and goes, but the rush I'd get bringing home 800 comic books was about more than reading them. I've also had a huge DVD collection, that I lost in a robbery. Now I don't buy DVD's. I had a fairly large CD collection that I lost in a dart game, along with my CD player, and my dart board by the end of the night. I still have more cologne than I'll ever wear in my entire life. In fact, I probably wear cologne ten times a year. I could wear a different cologne on every cologne wearing occasion for maybe five years if I wanted. That's why I don't even get into other stuff too much. If I got into video games or action figures I could just see my bank account empty. I think once I start in on something I easily go overboard.

These are a few pictures of my room . I currently have 9 long boxes , 23 short and 5 magazine boxes of comics . Total just over 5500 books . I built my own long box table and picked up a spinner a few years ago . I recently got into framing signed comics after seeing fellow collect MRP room pictures . I have added a few things since pictures . Like a shelving unit in closet to holds all my magazine Savage Sword of Conan , Conan Saga and Conan the Savage . And put all my dc titles into short boxes and store them in closet to . I started buying tees shirts at shows and have local artist sign and sketch on them , Like at the local red and white show recently had about 20 artist there and every one was happy to sign it .Just got to get a jersey frame and frame it . The majority of my collection is Iron man and Conan by marvel , I covered a table with old conan comics . And have just started finding graphic novel by marvel . I would like to thank all the other collection rooms I have seen for giving me the inspiring me to set my own up .

I've seen your set up before-when you were featured on CBR's Shelf Porn, and I love it. Totally jealous of the spinner rack and the Conan #1 prints.

That longbox table is awesome. Looks like it's actually good for rooting through the collection but also looks good as a stationary object in the room. Your room looks a lot like a clean and well done comic shop.

Love the idea of incorporating a mini-closet for comics related t-shirts, and I am in total envy of the spinner rack.

Great spinner rack. My spinner rack is from a slightly later time period, and therefore can only hold comics from 1974 or newer due to the width of the racks.

Very nice Scott . Nice recliner , I just picked up one from Sears . I seen a older spinner a few months ago that they said was from the 50's with curved pipe legs on bottom and a square top . Really rough for 300 bucks . I see we have similar taste in books Conan Claw Beowulf , wish I still had all my Gi Combat .
