I loved the Batman Family as a kid. I didn't get to see the Betty & Kathy Kane characters, so it was a big thrill to me to get to see them in Batman Family.

#41 Zorro - Various Television/Movies & Other MediaZorro, is a very complex and engaging character that I grown to loved all these years and I grew a fascination about this character that I feel it's so difficult to describe and much more intriguing than the Lone Ranger and Tonto. I did not read much of Zorro Comics Books because they did not capture the soul of Zorro very well but the Disney with Guy Williams pictured here along with other Zorro's that I fell in loved with are very much captivating and engaging character that leave you thinking and one other Zorro on Television by the name of Duncan Regehr was incredible too. Antonio Banderas as Zorro was a marvelous Big Time Adaptation and having said that he was ideal for the part of Zorro because he captured the intensity and drama of the mysterious man in black cape, black hat, and black mask that made him stands out of his own rights as a champion for the people in California under the rule of Mexico. Zorro is a champion of Californian Rights and later on became a true hero for all the causes of the people that live in California that's he cared about the people living in oppressive times that's far more critical than you think. Zorro is a complex character that's embodies the human to do impossible thing and has a magnificent black horse by the name of Tornado that's aid him countless missions to fuel the spirit of all Californians under the rule of various Mexican Military Commanders that uses illegal means of corruptions to add fuel to the fire that made Zorro a household name to all Californians that looks up to him in hope that things goes their way. He's (Zorro) an inspiration to all causes that's made him legendary character that speaks for himself and that's why this character has so many different ways of dealing with the problem that made him quite elusive and that's why he's very much like a fox that's cunning and free that made him very difficult foe for the Mexican Authorities at that time to catch. A fantastic swordsmen and great with the whip and a Man of Action that makes you wonder how he managed to help the oppressed with all these daring do's that made him a legend of his own time. It will take me about a week or more to deal with this character insights and understanding. Zorro a Man of Action

I will be getting Batman The Dynamic Duo Archives 1 and 2 that covers Detective Comics #327-333; Batman #164-167 & Detective Comics #334-339; Batman #168-171 because these were the fun years of Batman that made the many dynamics quite interesting because Batman and Robin had to contend all of their rouge galleries of the Joker, Riddler, Clayface, Penguin, Catwoman, Catman, and countless others that made this period quite colorful and interesting.
I would certainly never try to talk someone out of picking up these volumes - I have them myself and enjoy them immensely - but I feel that the "New Look" period is a step down from what had immediately come before. Although Shelly Moldoff (my third favorite Batman artist) would stay on the titles, his style would change to fit with Carmine Infantino's and not for the better in my opinion. With the "New Look" we lose Alfred (for a couple of years anyway), Clayface II (outside of an appearance in World's Finest 144), Cat-Man until the 1980's, Bat-Mite, Kathy Kane, and Bette Kane until the 70's with a few World's Finest appearances. The period has a lot to offer of course - the return of the Riddler, new villains such as the Getaway Genius, Carmine Infantino's beautiful artwork, a classic Penguin tale in Batman 169 and Joker issue with Tec 332 - but it seemed to take a couple of years for DC to start making up for the great stuff they abandoned with Tec 327.
By the way Mecha, are you familiar with the following tpb?
It collects all of those great Batman and Robin II imaginary stories written by Alfred starting in 1960 until early 1964, plus a few others (ie. "What if Batman married Batwoman?", "What if Batman had to get a new identity?", "What if Superman and Batman were enemies?", etc). It came out about five or six years ago so it shouldn't be too hard to track down if you're interested.

My Comic Book Store is has a large selection of tpb and what I'm going to do is to download that image that you've provided and send that in an e-mail to the Assistant Manager of the Store that I go to and he managed the tpb section and get me a copy of that and mail to me. I have never seen it before and looks great ... thanks for the tip and I hope that he has a copy of it. I'm very interested in this ...

I will check this out immediately (I love Alex Toth - he is a true master at his craft) and I may I add here I'm truly in love with Zorro with Dynamite Entertainment and it's really captured Zorro really well and started reading about his adventures about 3 months ago and I was very mad at myself for not getting it earlier.

Alain Delon - 1975 Zorro Movie Italian / France Film Co-Production CreditsTrailer of this MovieBest TrailerFull Movie On You Tube - English VersionI consider it one of my favorite movies of Zorro and it's memorable music that's so spellbinding and it's keeps you forever and forever making sure that you don't forget about this memorable movie that the Italian and French people has masterfully put together making this movie the best since Disney's Guy Williams. It full of action, drama, and a delightful punch of Comedy in all the right places that makes you want to stand up and cheer Zorro! Alain Delon is Zorro and he made me a believer out of me making his presence known in right time and the right place. Stanley Baker as Colonel HuertaWas pure calculating and delightfully entertaining as the evil Colonel Huerta that oppressed the people that he supposed to protect and serve and took Don Diego played by Delon to set the record straight. He was incredible, gifted, and has some of the movie most memorable scenes and did a masterful job of acting and setting the tone of this movie just superbly. Ottavia Piccolo as Contessina Ortensia PulidoShe was excellent heroine in this movie and craves the action of our hero Zorro and was amazing in this film for all the right reasons. She was very concerned about her people and made this movie a perfect female touch that was felt in all the right moment. It was my first movie that I saw of her and she left me a quite an impression that made her amazing in every way shape or form. She was perfect and you will fall in love with her during the course of this movie. Moustache as Sergeant GarciaHe was delightfully funny, perfect for the comedy part of this movie and you'll laugh out loud when he appears on film. He was incredible as Sergeant Garcia and made himself a mockery of Colonel Huerta and a total embarrassment of the establishment that he supposed to protect. I find him a quite amusing, and as you watch this movie you'll find that he's so good as he does and I just amazed how well he put it all into proper perspective and all. Enzo Cerusico as Joaquín, Don Diego's Servant Another key player and he did a great job as Don Diego's Servant and I do enjoy his professionalism, character - he was born to play this role and did a masterful job of showcasing his talent in the right time in this great movie that came out in 1975. I have seen him in other movies at this time and I was shocked how well he handled this part well and he and Alain did made great scenes together and was a perfect assistant to our hero Zorro! Wrap Up of Zorro's 1975 Movie These four actors shown here are the principle players in this amazing film that came out in 1975. Alain Deleon was ZORRO and I consider this movie one of the best that I seen and it has great photography, movement, captured the soul of the ever dashing hero and most importantly it's has its intense drama, full of humor, and everyone else that appeared in this movie was excellent to the core. I've watched this movie yesterday on You Tube and I was duly amazed that this movie held up all these years and I kicked myself in the pants that I did not pick up a DVD of this movie and I already ordered one and it's coming my way in 3-4 weeks and then I get to see it in better format and it's has a great script as well. Tomorrow, it's Antonio Banderas's turn and this will take me more than a day to cover it and I'm afraid that it's will take me at least 10 days or more to cover eight ZORRO's that I promised to all of you here and I may take me some time to cover all my bases here.
