#33 Colossus - Marvel ComicsNote to All: No discussions on Colossus in any of three movies that he appeared and I'm very, very disappointed that he had only 3 lines in all the movies that he appeared in.
I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not counting it because it wasn't one of the X-Men films, but Colossus plays a fairly prominent supporting role in the Deadpool film. I'll leave it up to someone better versed in the character to judge whether the portrayal was accurate, but I'm sure you can check out clips on youtube if you want to get an idea of what you'd be in for if you choose to watch the picture.

Chad, I saw the trailer at one of many movie houses that I go to on a random basis and I don't know anything about Deadpool and sorry that I did not see this film ... thanks for telling me about this and appreciate the heads up on Colossus in this film.

#32 Space Ghost - Hanna Barbara ProductionsCreated by Alex Toth and Cartoon Intro BelowOne of the best cartoon shows in the 60's and one of my favorites and I pretty much saw every cartoon on the Space Ghost / Dino Boy Show. To be honest with you - I did not see Space Stars that much and I have very little memory of that show of which Space Ghost was a part of it. I literally hated the other show - Space Ghost Coast to Coast and I just watched a few of those shows and I think of them pretty much garbage. I like the concept of Space Ghost being aided by Jan and Jayce and their pet monkey Blip and it was real good foursome of a small group of heroes that operates out of Ghost Planet in a great intergalactic scenes that leave me in a state of wonder as a kid watching it. Ghost PlanetI was investigating and reviewing all the list of Space Ghost Segments of which Space Ghost starred and frankly my favorite one of all time is the 1st Show of which they battled the Heat Thing on the planet Jupiter; you got that right the Planet Jupiter! This heat creature "Heat Thing" attacked Jayce and he called on Space Ghost to save him from being burned by this hideous and powerful creature; and it's was action packed and I literally was on the edge of my seat as a young boy watching this cartoon back in 1966. From WikipediaNote: Jupiter is incorrectly depicted as a craterous, rocky planet in this episode. Why not, sit back and enjoy the 1st Show of Space Ghost it's only a little over 7 minutes long and enjoy this action packed show of one of the coolest superhero that Hanna Barbara created of all time. I just love his costume and the writers and the artists of this show did a fantastic job doing them. Alex Toth gets the initial credit for the job well done and I will be sharing more tomorrow going over some details that you have to wait for ...

I think lots of fans are sick of Super-Wolverine, though the character long ago was quite compelling.
Haven't read X-Men since Morrison's stint, but otherwise I'd say I really them all but esp Nightcrawler and Colossus.
I'm amazed neither one of them is more popular than they are.

I hadn't read it for years before that.
Most of the newer mutant characters don't interest me in the least.

The Three Main Players on Space GhostJanJaceBlipMy big question of the day - Who is the Mother of Jan and Jace? These three characters have an unique way of saying this that all three of them serve as important sidekicks to Space Ghost and that alone made this show special for young people that have dreams of someday becoming sidekicks to Super Heroes. Space Ghost is one of the most powerful and here's the list of them from Wikipedia. Flight Super strength Enhanced agility Enhanced stamina Teleportation Belt that grants invisibility Power Bands give an assortment of energy powers and abilities Looking at this list - He's appears to me that he has strength of the Thing, Has powers similar to Invisible Girl, some Nightcrawler in an effect, and his Power Bands appears to me somewhat in the league of Firestorm and able to fly faster than the Phantom Cruiser showing that he alone in any Comic Book Universes that he chose to go (He has been in DC Universe) either DC and/or Marvel he would be one of the most powerful one and would had cracked in the top 10 list. Jan and Jace along with their Space Monkey Blip has a unique place of being part of Space Ghost and being a loyal sidekicks and Space Ghost has three of them makes this group a hit among young people that watch this show. Many boys and girls back in my days of youth loved this show and it's the sidekicks that made it popular. I just love Blip and he's one of the coolest character around and he wears a uniform too. These three constantly working together in unison and always managed to get the job done and that's why I like this show so well because there is no "I" in this show. Everybody pitches in and everybody gets the job done. And, that alone attracted me and influenced me to enjoy it.

Top 5 Space Ghost Comic Books Series of All-TimeNote to AllI don't pay much attention to a lot of things - I want a good story and art and I'm one of those fans out there don't pay much attention to anything and having said that and I have seen and read all of these series of Comic Books featuring Space Ghost and I'm ranking them due to Stories, Artwork, and sticking to the Cartoon itself and other factors that's would take me forever to explain and I have no desires to share those opinions. Number 1 - ComicoBest of the Best - The art is unreal and stories stick with Toth's creation of Space Ghost and I treasure these stories and the Staff of Comico did a fantastic job with it. Number 2 - DC ComicsThey did a marvelous job of re-creating Space Ghost and the Creative Team did an imaginative job handling it and I certainly enjoyed reading many of it's stories and artwork is excellent as well. Number 3 - Gold Key I was tempted to place them at Number 2 edging out DC Comics because the book very much resembles like Comico for number of reasons that's would take me time to share them. Their stories are outstanding and the art is superb. Number 4 - Archie ComicsI have seen a couple of these comic books and I was surprised how well they put it together and the problem why they ranked at number 4 - the artwork is a step or two below Comico, DC Comics, and Archie. Number 5 - Marvel Comics I seen quite of few of these books and I felt that did a hastily job put it altogether and I felt the stories are a bit centered on the Youth too much and I say this that Archie Comics beat them out on the 4th spot. If they made their stories a bit better - I would have no problems rating them ahead of Archie Comics.

Starting later on the week - I will do Number 31 and do two posts that day and move onto the next whether the day after or next. I'm cutting down my posts on this thread and now feeling a bit frustrated with it. I've decided that less is more and determined to do a better job from now on.

Both Gold Key and Archie Comics did only 1 issue each - both of them One Shot Issue and they are hard to find these days and highly collectible ... I was told that by a dear friend of mine who have both Gold Key and Archie Comics books that Space Ghost was the Central Character.
