Tomorrow, I will try to share some of the best stories from Journey into Mystery Stories - stories that I read as a kid back in the early 60's and on. My limitation is that I will select the top 5 stories and I will share some details (briefly) of why I like it in the first place and I will share those thoughts and let you decide whether I'm right or wrong. I only read stories from Journey into Mystery and nothing else. My Thor time was in those issues alone and anything else after that is a no show and I just can't comments on those stories at all.
Honestly,
I just can't remember what stories are the best and I don't have the Comics anymore without them and my memory is very shaky on this subject and I'm going to share some of the Thor best moments as a Avenger instead.
Sorry Everyone.

I like Luthor's battle armor. If you were a billionaire, trillionaire, whatever, like Luthor, and super smart and good with technology and weapons, doesn't it make sense to develop an armor like this, much like Tony Stark did over at Marvel ? Well, it happened at DC too, but it was a supervillain named Luthor. You are one of the rare people that liked Luthor's battle armor. Pretty much, about 70 percent of the people that I've talked to did not like it one bit. For you, that's okay and I can understand your reasons. There is no harm in that. I've always liked the look of the armor, but I think has more to do with the Super Powers figure that I loved as a kid as opposed to how its been used in the comics. Given how Lex has been portrayed since the Byrne run, it probably does make more sense that he would hire someone to wear it.

Juggernaut, have you read Doctor Strange/Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment by Roger Stern and Mike Mignola? For my money, its the best single Doom story ever. I think Byrne wrote the most great Doom stories, but that one is still my favorite.

That is good.
As far as Doom's voice, it's deep and regal, though not necessarily James Earl Jones.
Yeah, Thor's always been a favorite of mine too.
Good pick Juggernaut

My LCS have that in a paperback format and they will send me a copy to my house in a week and I'm very interested in reading this because any novel that pairs up Doctor Strange and Doctor Doom has to be very intriguing and an unusual one indeed. I will let you know how I like it.

I have an unexpected double header (Water Polo) today and I will try to review Thor #126 to Thor #128 late tonight and/or early tomorrow morning and do it all in one post. It's involved Thor, Hercules, and Pluto and this is one of the first big story lines that I can remember reading back in the early 70's when I was in 10th grade. It was an challenge to Thor in a way and I consider it a story that really climaxes when both Thor and Hercules to take on Pluto in Thor #128.
I will try my best to recollect all I know about this story that started in Thor #126 and ends in Thor #128.
This is one my favorite stories involving Thor.

3 in 1 - Thor 126, 127, and 128 Review - My Favorite Thor Adventure EverCombined Story of all three Thor's Books
STARTING WITH THOR'S 126This is the first battle with Thor wrestling with Hercules a clash of two titans over the romance of Jane Foster and this result a jealous Thunder God to do battle with Hercules and this cause some friction with Odin and he was angry enough to reveal his identity to Jane Foster and among all that. When, Hercules defeated in a series of battles across the city and when it’s all over Hercules was approached by a talent agent to convince him to go to Hollywood and star in his own movie and while all of this is going on Odin strikes down Thor with a mystical bolt that takes away half of his powers for his punishment of disobeying Odin. This resulted his loss to Hercules and having known that Jane Foster went to lunch with Hercules to make Thor jealous and that alone was primarily a fault of Jane Foster and Jane tried to amend it by telepathically summons Odin all the problems that Thor is having and having him lost honor with his Father, Odin. This made Jane upset and that alone causes a great deal of frustrations of Thor. Thor fought like a true Asgardian … and this move on to issue 127. ISSUE 127In issue 127, Hercules in California working with the film people and the man that recruited him was J.P. and in effect was really Pluto in disguise – the God of Death and ruler of Hades awaiting the arrival of Hercules. While J.P. waited for Hercules, Thor has to go to Asgard to find that Odin is having a series of problems and feeling somewhat rotten and all that and without warning he is being struck down by Seldring. Before he meets Seldring, he discovered that Hemidall was encased by some unknown force (can’t remember it) and rushed to the palace and discovered that Seldring taken over and placed Thor in a ring of fire and demanded that Thor takes allegiance to him. Thor refuses and knowing that he managed to escape the chamber of Oversword and grab the Sword and threaten Seldring. Seldring doesn’t want to suffer the wrath of the Thunder God and rightfully restore Odin’s power back to him and he managed to restore order and picked up Odin who is exhausted and that’s lead to issue 128. Odin was concerned about his son’s health and banished Seldring to the rock world to be their King ISSUE 128Then, back in California as Hercules signed an Olympian Pact – both Pluto and Hippolyta tricked him into it and force Hercules into a battle that he later regrets. Before that he fought a Mechanical Giant and P.J. gave him a big feast as his reward. While back in Asgard – Thor is still in rest and recovering nicely and sent on a boat with Balder to fight a giant sea-beast and Balder fled the scene after that attack. Then in horror of horrors – P.J. reveals that he is truly Pluto and Hippolyta and with overwhelming odds he was forced to fight the minions of Pluto and later on he was assisted by Thor who recovers and sent to California by his blessing of his father – Odin and somehow Hercules did not sent to Hades because both Pluto and Hippolyta were teleported away after Thor joined Hercules in the fight and both of them stood at truce and battle with the minions just fade away. The End My favorite PanelGreat Splash Page

It's my only chance to escape!" and, read the ancient saying "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of THOR" ... 20 SHAZAM & ISIS HOUR - Mid 70's Action Series on CBSShazamNarrator: Chosen from among all others by the immortal elders - Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, Mercury - Billy Batson and his mentor travel the highways and byways of the land on a neverending mission: to right wrongs, to develop understanding, and to seek justice for all! In time of dire need, young Billy has been granted the power by the immortals to summon awesome forces at the utterance of a single word! Billy Batson: SHAZAM! IsisWhen an archaeology teacher unearthed an ancient Egyptian amulet, she learns that the item was a magic piece of great power. Researching the amulet's past, she decides to use that for its original purpose. Now whenever there is trouble, she dons the amulet and chants, "Oh Mighty Isis". With that, she transforms into the Egyptian goddess, Isis, and battles evil with the power of that deity. Shazam Season 1 Intro and Closing Segments Isis Introduction Shazam Isis Hour Introduction John Davey and Joanna Cameron Jackson Bostwick and Joanna Cameron With Micheal Grey as Billy Baston Starting Now ...In my remaining top 20 these heroes and television shows (one left) has shaped me immensely over the past 50 years of watching countless hours and reruns in syndication and most of these heroes has television series and movies that been associated with their monikers (names) and they had a lasting impact on my life. When, Shazam Isis Hour came on - it was from Noon to 1pm every Saturday and I usually watch it in the Television Room while eating my lunch and got permission from my parents to watch it every Saturday and I had a crush on Joanna Cameron who played Isis. It was a great show in the mid-70's and I will be spending 2-3 days discussing it and sharing my thoughts on this show that shaped my life. It was a decent show with morals and understanding and that attracted me in the first place. I wished this show had better special effects but it was an action packed show with little bit of everything thrown into it. I will share the differences of the two Captain Marvels - John Davey and Jackson Bostwick tomorrow and later on my thoughts on Joanne Cameron who played Isis as well. I will get to that sometimes tomorrow and proceed from there.

Jackson Bostwick Vs John DaveyJackson did 17 Shows and John did 11 Shows during it's limited 3 Seasons Run. Jackson Bostwick - Captain Marvel 1st Season 17 Shows Jackson Bostwick - Captain Marvel 2nd Season 2 Shows (*)John Davey 2nd Season 2nd Season 3 Shows John Davey 3rd Season 3rd Season 8 Shows They made an extra show in the 2nd Season for Isis (*)(*) Second Season TurmoilJackson Bostwick was fired by Filmation Associates for dispute over an injury that Jackson somewhat failed to disclose and he tried to inform them about it; but his Agent at the time had problems convincing them and he was let go by Filmation anyway and that resulted a lawsuit by Jackson Bostwick over the entire 2nd Season salary and therefore forces Filmation to reduce the workload for John Davey in the 2nd and 3rd Seasons of Shazam / Isis hour and that alone causes additional problems as well and they tried to recover their losses and ratings by combining three crossovers with Isis in the 3rd Season of which they had Joanna Cameron and John Davey working together to save the show so that they can have a 4th Season. The problem is that the lawsuit initiated by Jackson Bostwick suffered a great deal of agony over the Filmation Associated Production Company of which Mr. Bostwick won over Shazam Production Company and he (Jackson) did everything in his powers to discredit the show and causes friction that could not repair at all. That one of many reasons why fans were outraged when Jackson was fired by Filmation because many of the fans were females and they were angry why he not Captain Marvel anymore. I was stunned when they fired him and that's one of the many reasons that I did not watch much of Shazam / Isis Hour in the 3rd and Final Season because the show production was falling apart and became boring after awhile. Who played a better Captain Marvel?Easily Jackson Bostwick because he was more animated than John Davey and I thought John worked better with Joanna Cameron when they did a crossover segment together and had better chemistry. Jackson liked Joanna but, he preferred to work alone and that's why he wanted the spotlight on him than shared with Joanna Cameron who played Isis. I like John Davey but he was a little overweight to play Captain Marvel and Jackson was at the right height and weight but I felt that both were good in terms of acting but Jackson smiled more than John and he looked more like Captain Marvel in the Comic Books than John ever was. That's my opinion and I did not watch much of John at all because by time 3rd Season rolled along I was too busy doing other things and really only watch the 1st two seasons of Captain Marvel. I only watch 1 season of Isis and I will be sharing some information about Joanna (Isis) Cameron later on.
