Joanna Cameron of IsisHer CreditsInternet DatabaseShe had a short and distinguished Movie and Television Credits and worked on several television shows such as The Amazing Spiderman, Bob Hope, Medical Center, Daniel Boone and others. She was born to play Isis and I felt that she was the real star of the Shazam / Isis Hour because nobody at the time ever heard of Isis ... I felt that she was a better pick to work with John Davey than Jackson Bostwick - but that's my own opinion and having said that she was incredible as Isis. She one of those rare superheroines that wore a dress in the show and in the comics too. That's attracted to me in the first place because I wanted a more feminine character than the later usual. I just dig her outfit! Here's another picture of her wearing it! She was right woman to play Isis and more importantly it is her beauty that caught my fancies. I had a huge crush on her when she appeared and I just wanted to find out more about her and that's the reason that Isis was my favorites of the two shows that appeared back to back. She had a distinction of starring over 1,000 commercials in her lifetime and one of the most sought after because of her appearances in the Shazam / Isis Hour. Joanna Cameron TodayShe's 64 ... very recent picture of her. She is doing great and still makes appearances and answer any questions regarding Isis a character that she played in the Shazam / Isis Hour in the mid-70's. Isis Comic Book published by DC Comics I have a copy of this book and the first 11 titles after that. I enjoyed reading these books and I occasionally read them when I do get a chance to do so. It was a great book and I loved the continuing series after that. I did not buy that many comic books from 1976 to 1979 because of High School and College and I had other things going on in my life. Great Splash Page of Isis.

#19 Super Friends - Cartoon Show1973 Introduction4/5 Excellent Start 1977 IntroductionIntroducing the Wonder Twins and it's took me awhile to get used to them and I missed Wendy, Marvin, and Wonder Dog. I was bitter about this change. 2.5/5 Average Start ... later barely 3.5/5 1978 IntroductionLegion of Doom, The Justice League of America ... gotten better and better and I gotten used to the Wonder Twins by now. 5/5 Best Ever 1979 IntroductionThe Super Friends went back to it's original format plus the Wonder Twins and made it okay in my book and nothing really fancy here. 3/5 Better than Average, barely. 1980 IntroductionWith addition of Black Vulcan, Samurai, Apache Chief, and other like El Dorado made it better than the previous version and made it more bearable to watch. More Variety. 3.5/5 later on became 4/5 - Above Average to Excellent 1985 Introduction - LegendaryIntroducing Firestorm - Show came on to me a surprise when they added Firestorm! Same as 1980 ... Same Grade. 1985 Introduction - Galactic GuardiansEnd it with a 4/5 and with a bang and that's ended the show after they made the final changes and all. Above Average at Best. The Logo of the Super Friends - Superman's StyleNote to All Members and Guests:My Image Hosting Web Site went through and made changes to the software and all my previous images (over 150) will not appear at all and I was told to use the new software and I don't like the idea of going through all the pages and correct this problem. So, I decided to leave the images alone and move forward.

I'm sticking with it because it's has no expiration date of images expiring on you. Photobucket, Flickr (I just don't understand it), Imgur, and others all kind failed on me.

Superfriends Influence on Juggernaut - My Thoughts
Negative
I would like to address two negative things about this long standing cartoon series that's I want to address to you first and get this out of the way and explore the positive things about this series that been on television from 1973 to 1986.
Green Arrow on the Superfriends
3:38 Minute Long
Plastic Man on the Superfriends
1:27 Minute Long
What you are watching combined time of 5:05 Minutes of Cartoon Fun in the 13 years existence of the Superfriends of their only two separate experiences on that show. For five years after the show ended I did not see their experiences (appearance) on that show and that bothers me a lot. I'm extremely disappointed in this and that alone is my only two painful thoughts of why they mishandled these two fine supporting characters that was popular back then.
That's all I have to say about it.

Superfriends Influence on Juggernaut - My Thoughts
Positive This long standing cartoon series has a very lasting effect on me and having said that - I enjoyed all the shows that they created and helps me further enjoyed the animated approach of the Justice League of America. When, they did the Challenge of the Superfriends - Legion of Doom verses the Superfriends (Justice League of America) ... this show at that time manged to charm my fancies of Super Powers Galore! It was these images that's managed to gave me hopes that this show will become a true version of the Justice League of America and that's made me wanted to watch this show as often that I can. The problem is that my parents at the time of this show came on felt that I was a tad too old to watch it and that's puts the damper on things. One thing, for sure that I was very happy that they managed to put the Challenge of the Supefriends on DVD and that's one of my cherish DVD's in my collection. I never, in my lifetime that this cartoon series is the closest thing to the Justice League of America and it's brought me great joy back then and today as I watched the reruns on DVD's. I thought the roll call of the Legion of Doom at that time was the right one for this animated Cartoon Series. Headed by Lex Luthor and assisted by: Captain Cold, Sinestro, Bizarro & Solomon Grundy, Cheetah & Brainiac, Black Manta & Gorilla Grodd, Toyman, The Riddler, Giganta, and The Scarecrow ... 13 of the world's most sinister villains of all time going at full force against the Superfriends and the Justice League of America. You couldn't ask for a better line-up than this. All of them are heavy hitters and deadly too. The Challenge of the Superfriends is one of major reasons why I love this cartoon show and continue to do so.

Superfriends Member List from Left to Right Cyborg - Not one of my favorites but I do like him working with Firestorm in the Galactic Guardians Show Apache Chief - A favorite of mine and he made the show entertaining and a great foe to Giganta. Black Vulcan - Instant Favorite of mine and a great Costume that they created and I loved the segment of which Superman and Green Lantern showcases their skills together. Awesome! El Dorado - Unique Character and a perfect addition to the Superfriends and I do like the way they handle him and I find his costume quite stylish and I dig his boots. Hawkman and Hawkgirl - I wished they used them more - but I find their presence a welcome addition and gave it a more JLA touch too. Plastic Man - A big disappointment and I just don't understand why they did not use him more. Batman and Robin - Original Member of the Superfriends and one of the most iconic characters of all time. Superman - The Leader and the Original Member of the Superfriends Wonder Woman - Original Member of the Superfriends and one of my favorite voices Shannon Farnon. She is still living at the age of 74. Shannon FarnonAquaman - Original Member of the Superfriends ... and they handle him with class and dignity. Flash - One of my favorite members and I liked the way they animated him in this great Cartoon Series. Green Arrow - Another big disappointment - 3 minutes of Air Time - totally unacceptable by my standards. Green Lantern - I just find this character one of the best their is and I just dig his costume in animated format and a welcome addition to the Superfriends - he and the Flash were dynamite in animated form. Atom - The Runaway Train was a classic Superfriends Cartoon and always be a favorite of mine. He was great addition to the Superfriends. Rima - I just loved this Character so much it's made me go out and get her Comic Book! I still have it and I will always treasured it. Samurai - He was a gem on the Superfriends and I just loved the way he worked with all the Superfriends and he was one of my dear favorites ... I instantly fell in love with him! Firestorm - When he made his appearance - I fell in love with him instantly and I just dig his red, yellow, and white costume. He and Cyborg worked well together and that's when I had little doubt about Cyborg. He was a favorite of mine and always will. The Wonder Twins - They were okay and I learn to accept them and they had some entertaining qualities about them and I did not pay much attention to them. They were sidekicks to the Superfriends and that alone made them what they are. Wendy, Marvin and Wonder Dog - I prefer the original sidekicks of the Superfriends because they gave the show a Scooby Doo style and that made the Cartoon great. I wished they had the longevity of the Wonder Twins.

The Super Friends was my introduction to super heroes! That, and the Spider-Man live action shorts on The Electric Company. Anyway, I have fond memories of watching the Super Friends on Saturday morning, and the show seemed to grow (progressing to battling the Legion of Doom, then Darkseid) as I did' I even bought a couple of Super Friends DVD's recently. I'm hoping that my kids (5 and 2) can watch them with me some day. :-)
And yes, I did like the addition of Samurai, Apache Chief, Black Vulcan, and El Dorado. Hey' at least it was an attempt to bring diversity, and I thought it was cool to see these new heroes that I hadn't seen in the comics.
I don't remember having ever seen that Green Arrow appearance, probably before my time and never caught it in reruns, but I do remember the Plastic Man appearance. Yes, it's a shame that neither appearance more often, but hey, at least Plastic Man got his own show! I liked that show, too, but I have to say, I liked it better without Baby Plas.
The Legion of Doom was the best! I think those are my favorite episodes, all in all.

Dumbest Idea that DC Comics ever did to Lex LuthorLuthor's Warsuit I like Luthor's battle armor. If you were a billionaire, trillionaire, whatever, like Luthor, and super smart and good with technology and weapons, doesn't it make sense to develop an armor like this, much like Tony Stark did over at Marvel ? Well, it happened at DC too, but it was a supervillain named Luthor. You are one of the rare people that liked Luthor's battle armor. Pretty much, about 70 percent of the people that I've talked to did not like it one bit. For you, that's okay and I can understand your reasons. There is no harm in that. Hey...I loved the warsuit too! Like hondo says, if a billionaire business man like Luthor is gonna go up against the Man of Steel, it makes a lot for him to have built something like this. Juggernaut, have you read Doctor Strange/Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment by Roger Stern and Mike Mignola? For my money, its the best single Doom story ever. I think Byrne wrote the most great Doom stories, but that one is still my favorite. No, I haven't ... it's interesting that Marvel puts Strange and Doom together in a story line. Sounds intriguing. You should check out the 2006 Books of Doom mini-series by Ed Brubaker and Pablo Raimondi. I thought it was really good and it really fleshes out a lot of Doom's back story, while examining what it is that makes him a villain. What makes him tick.
