His classic brown one is still my favorite hands down.

I don't think I've seen these before. My memory is not the greatest though. He's not a favorite of mine, but I've been meaning to buy the Spider-Man issues that Ann Nocenti wrote. That was during the Identity Crisis period from the 90's while there was a bounty on his head. He took up 4 different itdenties. Each Spider-Man title he had a different identify. As a Spider-Man and an Ann Nocenti fan I can honestly say I did not care for the issues she wrote. Though you may like them.

His classic brown one is still my favorite hands down. I haven't seen most of these either. Not my favorite member of the X-Men, but just 'cause: I prefer Rogue's older costumes too.I really like her older outfits too. If u had to pick a more recent one it would probably be this one.

Phantom Girl has always been one of my favorite Legionnaires, and she's gone through a few costume changes, including her having aped Power Girl's "boob window". Kind of difficult to "ape" someone if you did it first? Cockrum's Phantom Girl design came along way before the Power Girl design (which originally had no window shopping) appeared. And strange coincidence that both PG's had the cleavage cutout applied to them and both wear white costumes? Spooooooooooky That's twice on this thread (after bert's showcase of PG's looks) that it's claimed the boob window was not the original design, even though it was. This is the very first time fans laid eyes on Power Girl:

I was speaking from memory (which is not such a good thing as we get older) and not having reviewed the series in awhile all i remembering was from the majority of the series when Power Girl's window was closed and i most vividly recall her first miniseries where there was no window. Thanks for the update and correction

George Perez is a terrible costume designer. As much as I love George's art, I have to agree about his fashion sense. -M I can't recall too many other Perez designs off the top of my head but I've always liked that Wonderman costume. Second only to the original WM look, in my book. The safari jacket might work for me in a different kind of fictional universe but it looks wrong to my eyes in the superhero-riddled MU.

The safari jacket worked perfectly for the THUNDER Squad ... which is why I didn't like it for Wonder Man.

It looks very Batman-esque.

Thanks for the update and correction The confusion in large part I think stems from the fact that she did not have the "boob window" in her first solo appearances in Showcase, which many confuse as her first appearance, not the All Star Comics appearance... but the All Star appearances predate the Showcase feature, as evidenced on the cover of the Showcase issues themselves with her popping out of the cover of All Star. -M

I think both Power Girl styles look good. As usual, much depends on the artist, and Staton makes the "windowless" version work well on that cover.
I remember liking that Robin costume back when I first saw it as well - but almost anything would be an improvement on the original, IMO. Was it Neal Adams who came up with it? That's the style I seem to picture when I try to recall.
