Regardless of anywhere else, Twitter is largely best avoided. It's a nightmarish hellscape of toxicity and poison. I only use it to troll "Covid-45". . and after 1/20, won't even need it for that.

I got a friendly reminder, after a post; fumed for a minute and simmered down and accepted it. The word was put out about political stuff; though it is damned hard to not find something where politics hasn't creeped in. I took the advice and acted on it (maybe with a little smart-alec touch, to be fair). I don't own the forum and it isn't my place to dictate rules. I have always recognized that freedom of speech doesn't mean someone has to give you their venue to exercise it. Your right to swing your fist ends when it reaches my face and all that.
I hope Becca sticks around; I enjoy her posts and learn quite a bit about various topics from her.
Moderator is about as thankless as being a UN peacekeeper.

My own post acknowledging the winner was deleted, I got a friendly word about that and that was it.
I didn't launch a bitter invective against others who I don't like and who had nothing to do with it, as I've seen above.
I've said before, you don't like someone, just use the 'ignore' feature, as I do. If you can't see posts, it stands to reason that you can't report them.
Not sure if anyone else has a grinning avatar and I did casually mention 'putting down' an idiot who preferred to scream at a sale-rep instead of putting on a mask. Someone asked me if I had anything to do with this, or the person involved, and the answer is an emphatic no. And it will remain that way. Merry Xmas.

I have a somewhat unique perspective, having been on the moderator staff here. I can attest that they do the best they can in thankless jobs and sometimes being abused trying to keep the peace. I'd ask that anyone who gets a friendly warning, please take it as friendly, and as codystarbuck did, step back a moment and consider the intent. I guarantee they're just trying to keep things running smoothly and happily. Happy Holiday of your choice to all!!

Merry Christmas to all!
If you are one of our members who don't celebrate Christmas, I hope you and yours have a wonderful experience with whichever (if any) holiday you do celebrate this time of year.
And if you're reading this, Becca, please come back. You're respected, valued and liked, and whatever happened shouldn't be bad enough to push you away. I've gotten more than my fair share of reprimands from the moderators, even having posts deleted, and I'm still here, so please reconsider. This forum is better and stronger with you as a part of it.

Sorry man, but who the hell is reporting beccabear's posts? They're among the most benign and least malicious I've seen on this forum. Seconded. beccabear67 is the most inoffensive person one could post, both here and at a forum I was previously on. She posts everything in good faith. Always. Apart from that, her posts are a) informative, and b) have a personal touch, filled with anecdotes. Hell, I’ve learnt a lot about Gerry Anderson from her these last few years. I don’t actually feel there should be a “report post” button on *any* forum as I’ve seen it misused, not when one can just send a message to a moderator or admin. Hope you come back soon, Beccabear67.

Yes, I know I have deleted my account twice. Not sure why that is relevant to the discussion. Yes, I have done it twice - I have zero patience in my life - but I did return twice. And the second time was due to frustration over world affairs.

I got underwear and a video game. That’s pretty darn close to a perfect haul for this almost 40 year old nerd.
I saw an amusing saying or graphic sometime ago that satisfaction with socks and underwear as Christmas gifts increases linearly with age. Boy is that true with me.

But you’re the only wrestling fan that deleted their account

Oh, okay, sorry. I’m quick to impatience, although I have made a promise to myself to take a long break rather than delete next time world events get me down.
