My foot has been hurting me for like 2 weeks now gonna try some ice on it tomorrow I should of before now but my depression was like nah you will be fine no need to do that :/ but yea it should help it I hope . What is going on with your foot? Yes, if it is swollen, ice it. And don't put it off a day. When ice is needed, it's important to do right away. And if you don't have ice or ice packs, frozen vegetables will work. When I sprained my ankle badly a few years ago, I couldn't get my ice packs refrozen fast enough, so I'd have to sit with bags of vegetables on my ankle. Take some ibuprofen, too, if you can (some people can't because it can be known to mess with the stomach), to help with inflammation. Hope you feel better soon.

I ate dinner Monday night at about 7pm. I haven't eaten since. Just liquids and cigarettes. My son is having a gastronomical surgery today to fix his chronic constipation. So yesterday he had to go through a bowel clean out and couldn't eat or drink. So I didn't either because hunger is something I can deal with (as long as my blood sugar doesn't get too low) and I couldn't eat when he can't. Even if he doesn't know. You're a good guy.

What's good, people? I've been away for a bit. Out of town for the weekend, baby suddenly deciding sleeping at night is AWFUL and refusing to do it, one of the dogs was...well, sick as a dog and was put on IVs at the vet, and/or a lot of money and stress, she is good as new. So, my hands have been full, but we're getting new floors installed in our house right now, which is nice.
My morning coffee was delicious, btw.

I miss talking about coffee and bananas.

TY very much I wonder if it's your shoes, maybe? Are you sleeping funny? Sitting at a desk with your feet crossed funny? I do that sometimes. Or sometimes I sit and put my feet on my toes which causes my toes to hurt eventually.

You're a good guy. He got to start eating this morning. He texted me when I was at the house he was eating pizza at about 10am. He wanted me to get him a happy meal on my way to the hospital at noon. Now it's 430pm and I'm in the hospital cafeteria getting him grilled chicken breasts and fries. He's certainly making up for lost time. :-) Make me feel tons better.

More like I have such abdominal pain that the idea of eating is repellent. Though when it *really* acts up, the pain is enough to make me throw up. That doesn't happen very often, thank god ... maybe every 3 or 4 years, tops. That sucks Dan. Sorry for that man. I've never had to deal with food kicking my stomach's ass. Though diabetes would kill me due to no booze.

Yeah I rarely eat more than one meal a day. Maybe a snack at lunch when I'm at work. Does the Crohn's mean you can't eat? Like you can't keep it down? I know you've told me you can't eat certain things due to it. I just get really frustrated and angry that a 12 year old child doesn't get the choice to eat. More like I have such abdominal pain that the idea of eating is repellent. Though when it *really* acts up, the pain is enough to make me throw up. That doesn't happen very often, thank god ... maybe every 3 or 4 years, tops.

I haven't either. My wife and I seem to have brought something back from taking turns spending the week in the hospital with my son. Nasal congestion, sore throat, coughing, fever and headache.
Lots of OJ, Sprite, cough drops and soup aside from medicine.
At least it's just now my first time sick this year.

My 25th class reunion felt a bit weird today. I have been spending the past few weeks focusing so much on the future - with the breakup and the upcoming new job - that being tossed into a sentimental nostalgia fest like that threw me a bit. Plus, the straight guy I had the biggest crush on 28 years ago was really drunk, complimented me on my looks ("you didn't get fat like the resht of ush") and rubbed his leg against mine under the table. Seriously weird.
