Aaron's latest Punisher series, which had a $4.99 per cover issue. Waited a bit and pounced on an entire set which also included Daredevil Woman Without Fear #3 1st appearance of The Hand Punisher with new logo. Saved $$

I haven't read much in the way of modern comics in quite a while, but I did recently read the first arc of Animal Castle. Basically it is Animal Farm after the counter-revolution. In place of the Communist oligarchy of the pigs there is a a fascist corporatist republic lead by President/Dictator Silvio, a very large bull, with enforcement by his dog militia. The first arc shows the beginning of a non-violent protest movement by Miss B, an alley cat and inspired by a vaguely Gandhi-like rat. A timely storyline and absolutely stunning art that will remind one of Blacksad. If you're a fan of Beasts of Burden give it a look.  |

This is one of my favorite current series... I suspect this 2nd series will end it, but If they can find more to it I'm definitely on board for the duration!

I read the 2nd trade for the current Sam Wilson Captain America book (Symbol of Truth).. it was ok, but nothing special...seems like a story that's been done many times.

$35.00 sealed Hardcover nabbed for less than 10% cover....never really paid attention to the 2015 series but this collects the first 12 issues. If I don't like it, some kid gets it in her stocking for Christmas....

I've always loved Lara Croft / Tomb Raider but took my time getting these Dark Horse sets from 2014 and 2018. Swung a great deal on these 2 sets, total 29 issues.

Haven't been much of a Buffy fan but got a $75 Deluxe 448pg Hardcover of the Boom series which collects 1-12 for $25, looks just like this one.

My mailman just brought me a Boxing Day present, my kickstarter fulfillment for The Hunters, a western by Jimmy Palmiotti (of Jonah Hex renown), Amanda Connor, Chad Hardin and crew. Slam_Bradley-I suspect this book might be up your alley. Amazingly fast fulfilment on this kickstarter. I backed it in Oct/Nov I think, and it's already here.  -M |

Latest X-23 mini series from earlier this year, Deadly Regenesis. These are the virgin variants from Unknown Comics. Got a good deal on these, so a Boxing Day bonus.
