Ha! I do agree, Kevin gets some of the funnier lines!
As for Jason's killer. I am thinking it is someone associated with the Cooper family. We don't see much of Betty's father. Maybe he did it? Maybe someone from the football team? Maybe a character they haven't introduced yet. Another thing I liked about last night's episode: Cheryl showed a more human side and realized her twin brother kept things from her.
I would like for them to show Miss Beazley (I think that was her name. She was the lunchroom lady).

Read an interview somewhere that more characters will show up by episode 10 including Archie's Mom. And the cast didn't know who the killer was until the last episode.

Episode 4: A lot happened. Betty & Veronica discover Miss Grundy's real name. Archie & Grundy are found out & she leaves Riverdale. Betty stands up to her Mom's bullying. We get more insight into Jughead's life. The Lodges are up to no good. A lot of conflict between the Andrews family & the Cooper family.

I enjoyed episode 4! The big reveal about Miss Grundy-- not so sure I'm buying her story. The Lolita sunglasses and the way she was eyeing those boys at the end. I believe she'll pop up again as the season goes on or maybe in season 2. I felt bad for Jughead (caught the Jellybean reference) and surprised at his connection to the south side serpents (as well as Hermione's!!) Also felt bad for Archie at the end and I felt like the scene really caught how to a teenager everything is the absolute end of the world. Way to go Betty! Can't stand her mom! Kevin and Cheryl had some good scenes as well. Loved her banter at Pop Tates when she caught Hermione.

I really hope Riverdale gets renewed. Sure, it is a VERY CW show with a story that could fit any young characters, but I really like how they worked the world of Archie into this very dark and adult storyline. I want to see Reggie interact with the gang more and cause trouble. Still think that someone in the Cooper family had something to do with Jason's death. Betty's mom is nuts! Maybe the Serpents had something to do with it as well?

It's pretty decent show and so far I like the interaction of all characters and I just wish this show gets renewed because it's really appeals to all ages.

Episode 5: Reggie had more scenes as Archie's rival for football captain. We get a hint of what went wrong between Polly Cooper & Jason Blossom. A lot of scenes in the creepy Blossom home. The memorial service for Jason took place. The Blossom family is one sick family.
I'm still don't like how they are portraying the entire Cooper family.
I really like the Jughead role. And Archie seems to be liked by the ladies.

After last week's episode I felt very sorry for Cheryl. The grandmother catching Betty and Jughead going through Jason's things made me jump, haha! Good to see Reggie appear. I wonder if he is on the back burner this season and will be featured more prominently in season 2? There is something equally sinister about Betty's family (much like the Blossoms). Interesting to learn of the bad blood between them. Enjoyed the scenes with Archie and Valerie--especially the scene with them and Mr. Andrews. Can't wait to watch the show tonight.

Episode 6: Betty & Jughead find Polly. Some of the mystery of what happened July 4th is revealed. Betty's parents are nuts. Archie's dad & Veronica's mom get closer. We find out why Josie acts the way she does. Each episode seems to be focusing on one of the main characters. This week was Josie. Next week it looks like Jughead will be the focus.
Outside of how messed up most of the adults are...I am really liking the show.

Great episode with some very Archie Comics moments (the school talent show, Archie singing, Veronica as the replacement Pussycat, that kiss between Archie and Val. Josie's dad is a real jerk. I feel so bad for Polly and Jason. I loved the scenes with Betty and Jughead (very unexpected moment with the 2 of them as well!). I cannot stand Betty's parents. I really hope one of them is the killer so they won't be on the show anymore, haha! The parents on this show have as drama as the kids. I cannot help but want to see Alexandra and Alexander Cabot show up, especially with last night's Josie centered episode. Riverdale is officially my favorite show.

The one thing that annoys me is the majority of the parents are unlikeable. At least have someone that is an adult be decent.

Out of the parents, I like Mr. Andrews the best. He is sort of clueless but he seems to really care about Archie without any agendas. Betty's parents are manipulative and controlling. Hermione is out for her own benefit (although I do believe she cares about Veronica). I want to know more about Jughead's father (looks like we will learn more next week). Kevin's dad seems ok. The Blossoms are horrible! Josie's mother does seem supportive--she looked genuinely happy watching the Pussycats perform and was comforting Josie later. The Coopers and Blossoms are my least favorite parents on the show.

Another nice touch--the DC Comics Rebirth posters in Archie's room!

I agree with you and I just can't stand Blossoms at all and I'm somewhat annoyed by Betty's Mom too. I wished they focus more on the kids than the Parents and I wished that they stopped showing the parents altogether. Just sporadic appearance at best. It's bothers me too much and that's why having the parents on the show makes it's not so enjoyable at all.
