Episode 12:
It was called Anatomy of a Murder. And that was what the episode was. It filled in some of the gaps and revealed the killer.
Next week ties up some loose ends & sets up season 2.
I won't say anything more except well done....

Great episode with lots of twists. I wasn't expecting who the killer turned out to be--now I am wanting to know why this person murdered Jason! Looking forward to the season finale next week.

One good thing: we get to see why the parents act like jerks sometimes. They are hiding their true motivations. Usually they are protecting their children the best they know how.
The moral of season one: hiding secrets from your family in order to protect them will result in bad things happening!

Episode 13:
Wow! More loose ends were tied up. Secrets were revealed. The town starts to heal. Cheryl goes off the deep end. It sets up some plot lines for next season. And then it ends with a cliffhanger....what a cliffhanger!

It was an awesome season finale! The scene with Archie at the iced over pond!!!!!

I read that Riverdale will be moving to Wednesdays this fall, coming on after Arrow. Also I believe it debuts on Netflix this week.

With CW moving Riverdale to Friday's at 8pm for repeat viewing I started recording the series with episode one last week and will binge watch the entire thing once they are all repeated. While it may or may not be something i continue with it generated enough interest from what i have heard so that i want to see it for myself. It looks like they managed to capture the quartet of Archie/Jughead/Betty/Veronica fairly well. That is what makes or breaks the whole thing since most of the series should revolve around them.
Looking forward to seeing how it plays out. Must have done something right in order to get a 2nd season approval...

WOW! With the first season done the actors/writers have settled into their roles. And I have to say this episode was the best so far. So much happened. A new status quo for Cheryl. Hiram Lodge is home. Archie's world is turned upside down...
and that cliffhanger ending!

I loved Cheryl going all Baby Jane on her mom, haha! Nice to see Archie's pals all rally in his time of need. |
