Like the Wrightson cover contest there should be no dislikes in this contest. Perez excels at cover design and layout and creating dynamic covers which get your attention immediately making you HAVE TO READ the issue.

Teen Titans...hah Wonder Woman...phhffft Crisis...WTFever I give you the single most important Perez book OF ALL TIME...well in 5 minutes of googooloogling that is. Deathlok had been MY book, no one else I knew had ever seen the series, and seeing his appearance here in one of my favourite books of the time broke the internet (well...made me happy for 5 minutes maybe).

Featuring one of my all-time favorite "obscure" characters, this was the first MTIO issue I ever owned:

Ah Modred....a hidden gem of a character. Nice pick!

Great cover. One of my favorites. The art was flipped for some (probably aesthetic) reason, necessitating the removal of the flag from Deathlok's breast and making him left-handed. Ben's injury moves from one arm to the other as well.

Just a classic Avengers cover by Perez. This is my cover today but it may change by Tuesday. Just too many great covers to choose from.

Bronze Age classic, though there are many, many others I could have picked. Believe me I know more than the editors !

One of my favorites and originally my first pick. Just looking at this cover takes me back to being 12 and thinking this was the coolest ever. I have no idea what's going on, but deal me in !

I bought the issue off the spinner rack based entirely on the cover. I'd not read the previous issue and I don't think I'd ever seen or hear of Man-Wolf before. I was completely lost in the story. But the cover certainly did its job.

Like the Wrightson cover contest there should be no dislikes in this contest. Perez excels at cover design and layout and creating dynamic covers which get your attention immediately making you HAVE TO READ the issue. I was just thinking, there's no point in me hitting the "like" button, because I want to "like" just about every cover. But I do prefer some over others so maybe I will after all. I'm hesitating between two different Avengers covers, one probably the superior drawing but the other a more sentimental favourite. Better make up my mind soon, before they're both taken!
