Batman Episode (42) … Second Season – Tut's Case is ShutOriginal Air Date - September 29, 1966 Major Villain - Victor Buono Important Guest Stars - Sid Haig as Royal Apothecary & Marianna Hill as Cleo Patrick My Thoughts about the ShowAs Batman races to save Robin he uses his Bat Laser Gun to blast open two bars so that he can use the Bat Ropes to save him and that's opened up the show in a dramatic fashion. After freeing Robin, and knowing something amiss at the Police Headquarters; they discovered Chief O'Hara accidentally took on of Miss Patrick's vitamins and King Tut ordered him to go outside and stand on the ledge of the Police Headquarters and do some acrobatic routines to delight him. The Dynamic Duo raced to save the Chief and missed nabbing King Tut and Miss Patrick at the same time King Tut leaving and the Duo racing to save the Chief. That's another Dramatic Scene as well. With all this going on and King Tut is getting angrier by the minute and one of his great lines in this show when he utters three glorious words ... The Big Ninny of which he's referring to the Caped Crusader himself. This expression is one of his better expressions to date and it's was indeed priceless! So, back to the Batcave and with all this going on and King Tut is striking hard on Commissioner Gordon and Batman himself and with artful preparation to battle the Evil King Tut he asked his Butler, Alfred to bring down Six Glasses of Buttermilk to coat his stomach from the effects of abu rabu simbu tu in a pill form of which Commissioner Gordon was already in Tut's spell. After drinking the spiked Lemonade and this time he was compelled to obey the Commands of King Tut so that he can finally defeat the Caped Crusader, Robin the Boy Wonder, and when all this happen - Cleo Patrick wants a jester of her very own and begs for Batman and the Evil Monarch was getting angrier and angrier by the moment and threaten her for joining Batman and Robin for a three course meal of his hungry crocodiles and Cleo obeyed his commands as faithful queen she is. Another great picture of King Tut and Marianna Hill. Marianna Hill was great in Wild, Wild, West working with Dr. Loveless in the Night of the Bogus Bandits ... my all-time favorite episode of the Wild, Wild, West starring Robert Conrad and Ross Martin. She one of those rare actresses that looks great in a Blonde and a Brunette ... a very versatile and charming actress. Back to the Show ...After drinking that Lemonade and fooling King Tut - Batman finds the right time to strike hard and with Robin, the Boy Wonder help they finally stopped King Tut plans to enslaved all of Gotham City and stopped him cold with a great Bat-Fight at the end of the show and with Robin dumping all that awful liquid down to the drain and Batman utters a latin word ... of which King Tut got all of that rotten fluid on him. Cavia porcellusAnd, that the latin word for guinea pig and the show ended in a high note with the Caped Crusader and Robin, the Boy Wonder saved the day. BatsWith this show had some great moments and I felt that the 2nd part of this two part was much better than the previous one because they did not did a great job despite Sid Haig's performance and they made it very dramatic and suspenseful at the same time. {BATMAN} After drinking six glasses of buttermilk and a glass of refreshing Lemonade ... I think he's needs to go ... Warning by clicking on the Spoiler ... you may laugh!

Batman Episode (43) … Second Season – The Greatest Mother of Them All Batman Episode (44) … Second Season – Ma ParkerOriginal Air Date - October 5, 1966 and October 6, 1966 Major Villainess - Shelley Winters as Ma Parker Important Guest Stars - David Lewis as Warden Crichton, 2nd (Ma Parker) ... Julie Newmar as Catwoman (Cameo) and Milton Berle as one of the Inmate posing as a Prison (Cameo) Guards. My Thoughts about the ShowI have a hard time watching these two shows because these two shows are the most silliest shows that I just can't write an honest reviews of. These two shows gets goes unrated on my own judgment. My next review - The Clock King's Crazy Crimes with Walter Slezak as Clock King will be next week on Monday the earliest. So, far ... I knocked out 4 shows in one week and making some inroads with this thread.

Batman Episode (45) … Second Season – The Clock King's Crazy CrimesOriginal Air Date - October 12, 1966 Major Villain - Walter Slezak as The Clock King Important Guest Stars - Eileen O'Neill as Milli Second & Ivan Triesault as Mr. Parkhurst My Thoughts about the ShowThis is one of the most delightful shows in the 2nd Season of which it was filled with Pop Culture Art, Funny Moments, and a Great Cameo too. It's all started with the Time Master himself - The Clock King calculating every move that he makes and does it with time and precision. One of his major crimes of this show is to attack Parkhurst Gallery and the focal point of Pop Culture Art of which it was one of the most colorful shows filled with Art and Fabulous Jewels of his Second Hands captured from Harry Hummert owner of Hummerts of which has valuable clocks and jewels - that are clock and watches oriented. Here's Clock King and Milli Second enjoying the haul that the Second Hands did earlier ... and did the job in excellent fashion. Here's the Dynamic Duo inspecting the Clock that emitted gas earlier this show ... with not much help in this particular piece that Clock King uses in his crimes earlier and they deduces that a man with a beard and quite heavy set and goes by the name of Mr. Chronos and with their knowledge of languages they deduces Clock King is behind all of this. Before they head over to Parkhurst Gallery and they want to take a stop at Dumbar Drive In and find out what Thelma Timepiece is up to. Bat Burgers anyone? ... Both Batman and Robin ordered 2 Bat Burgers - Medium Rare and two Orangeades too. They found out where Thelma Timepiece left ... She quits her job last week and inside the Batmobile they watch a program that Parkhurst Gallery and already Clock King is preparing and executing another brazen crime and ... Time Out of Joint Via Batcave and the Bat Computer gave them a Photo of Clock King and they deduces that Clock King is at Parkhurst Gallery. So, they got rid of their Bat Burgers Baskets and hurry to Parkhurst Gallery to stop Clock King and his masterpiece called Time Out of Joint. A brisk and quick Bat-Fight and as soon the last of the Second Hands fall down ... a moment for Clock King to relax and that proves disaster for the Dynamic Duo as Clock King activated The Counter Attack Device to buy time for his escape! ... As the Caped Crusaders finally freed themselves and discovered that Clock King left a watch on the floor and raced to the Batcave to have it tested and discovered that this watch contains dust particles from an warehouse that makes clocks and race to stop them once for all. While they climbing up the sides of the Warehouse they met Sammy Davis Jr. Upon entering the Warehouse they fell down in some sort of slick oil that used for Watches and then the criminals quickly gas them and place them into a Giant Hourglass filled with Sand to meet their doom. Sands of Time for the Dynamic Duo. Before Clock King places them in the Hourglass and rambled out some great crime that will be struck at 5 pm in the afternoon - Clock King removed their Utility Belts so that they can't get away easy. BatsExcellent Show ... Very well paced and it has that Comic Book feel.

I agree with you that Ma Parker episode was terrible. The King Tut & Clock King episodes were great. Isn't that Dennis Mitchell's Dad in that one scene where they are inspecting the clock?

Don't think I've ever seen the Clock King episode, but I love the Pop Art setting. Looks like a fun episode.

You are absolutely correct and I've totally forgot all about that. Herbert Anderson in Batman, the Black and White is from Dennis the Menace back in the 50's ...

Don't think I've ever seen the Clock King episode, but I love the Pop Art setting. Looks like a fun episode. Here's an good example of that ... and that's why I love the Clock King Character so much and I was sadden to see that he only appeared in 2 shows of Batman. It's great show and has that Comic Book appeal that I've liked so much. Walter Slezak as The Clock King should had given another chance and I wished they did.

Batman Episode (45) … Second Season – The Clock King Gets CrownedOriginal Air Date - October 13, 1966 Major Villain - Walter Slezak as The Clock King Important Guest Stars - Eileen O'Neill as Milli Second My Thoughts about the ShowAs, the Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder were inside that Hourglass and trying to think a way to get out of it and the Boy Wonder ... said Holy Squirrel Cage and that's the answer that they are looking for and they began to pound the sides of the glass and soon they landed the ground and Batman said start running like a squirrel in a cage and went outside and a passing truck broke the glass and they were freed. At Police Headquarters, Aunt Harriet paid a visit and invited both Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara for Bruce Wayne's Birthday Party tonight and then the Bat Phone beeping away and it was an exciting moment to see the Caped Crusader calling in at the moment of her visit there. Back to Clock King hideout and he's about to launch one of his biggest Clock King Crimes of the Century and now with Batman and Robin were finished - he was confident enough to pull off a fabulous caper with that Box with Red X and that Golden device on top of it. Back to Wayne Manor after hearing about the Control Switch and the Knockout Gas being mixed up by one of his henchmen and Clock King was burning mad when this happen and they were forced to go to Wayne Manor immediately to correct that oversight. They stole a few watches and that causes great stress to Aunt Harriet when she sees Clock King stealing Bruce's Birthday Present. Alfred was much of the help here except he summons Bruce and Dick with the Bat Alarm that the Dynamic Duo was in the BatCave at the time of the Crime. So, Clock King fixed the problem and Bruce and Dick raced back to Batcave and figured out what caper that Clock King is working on. They called Commissioner Gordon and the only critical piece of information is a Cesium Clock is being delivered to ASC Corporation. Thinking Batman and Robin are dead, Clock King is holding the ASC Corporation for Ransom. Surprised Clock King and Millie Second was surprised to see the Dynamic Duo and great Bat Fight followed and the ASC Corporation and the Caped Crusader saved the day. Bats
It was a little bit of a letdown, but it's a great show anyway.

Append to the Last Show
The Cesium Clock is an expensive clock and it's worth a million dollar and that's was the main object to Clock King to hold up the ASC Corporation for ransom. I've feel bad not including that in the first place.

My Reviews - Final Decision
Sorry Yvonne Craig Fans, I decided not to do the final Season of which it's has 26 Episodes altogether. The Episodes for the most part were inferior and downright silly and I just can't stand most of the shows that they put together. So, when the Review of The Duo Defy (94th Show) is finished ... I'm finished reviewing these shows for good.

In the 41st Show The Spell of TutGreen Hornet and Kato made a window entrance The Dynamic Duo was heading to the Apothecary Shop that Sig Haig operated; and this is my favorite window cameo in the three seasons of Batman. Same here.

UPDATE
I'm skipping four shows in the 2nd Season of Batman, Cliff Robertson as Shame and Maurice Evans as the Puzzler on grounds that I can't not accept them as face value.
My next review will come in next Monday when I start with "An Egg Grows in Gotham" guest starring Vincent Price as Egghead.
Having said this ... I have 43 shows left to do and I should be done by end of this year.

Spotlight Character - Ben WeldenOne of very few actors to appears in both Adventures of Superman, Starring George Reeves and Batman's Adam West Series and this next show An Egg Grows in Gotham & The Yegg Foes in Gotham is his last appearances on both Television and Movies and I was stunned that he didn't get any additional work after that. He is a favorite of mine for years in the black and white episodes - my favorite show is his appearance in The Dog Who Knew Superman (1953) ... Hank Here's some pictures from that show. At this point of this show he's attempting to grab Corky. One of the great scenes in that show that I've fondly recall from. In the color version of Superman, my favorite show was The Mysterious Cube (1958) ... Jody MaloneTurn your sound on and listen to this show with the sounds effects of the Six Million Dollar Man. With George Reeves here. His next and last appearance as Foo Young

Batman Episode (47) … Second Season – An Egg Grows in GothamOriginal Air Date - October 19, 1966 Major Villain - Vincent Price as Egghead Important Guest StarsEdward Everett Horton as Chief Screaming Chicken Gail Hire as Miss Bacon Ben Welden as Foo Young Gene Dynarski as Benedict Stephen Dunne as Millionaire Tim Tyler - Baseball Albert Carrier as Millionaire Pete Savage - Patron of the Arts Bryon Keith - Mayor (cameo) My Thoughts about the ShowBefore, I've begin this is one of the first attempts to get many guest stars on this show and it's has a great lineup here and you can see it above you and getting lines for them and air time is not an easy thing to do and they did a bang up job making sure everyone gets included. On to the ShowEgghead steals the original charter of the deed between Gotham City and the Indians led by only one Indian left ... Chief Screaming Chicken and trying to figure out how to get GOTHAM CITY as his very own. That's the plan of attack to terrorize Gotham City. Vincent Price as EGGHEAD, the rottenest EGG of them all. The original deed must be paid by original occupants of Gotham City and they are the three millionaires Pete Savage (Patron of the Arts, from Europe coming home to participate in the Raccoon Pelts and Tim Tyler the Baseball Owner, and our own Bruce Wayne still in Gotham City and the head of Wayne Foundation ... Savage, Tyler, and Wayne While Egghead plots to includes all three millionaires by kidnapping them and with a bonus twist at the end; and trying to avoid the midnight deadline of nine raccoon pelts 3 each from Savage, Tyler, and Wayne ... Dick Grayson, Aunt Harriett, and Bruce Wayne each of them examining the pelts that being paid to Chief Screaming Chicken at Midnight ... tonight to pay off the deed of Gotham City for 5 years. In this picture below, this is moment that Egghead is waiting for - he discovered a clause that the deal must be struck at Midnight and has to be done at midnight for this deed to be paid ... that's the main reason behind this diabolical plot by EGGHEAD. With Gail Hire as Miss Bacon ... She has a cute smile here. With Batman, trying to figure out what's the angle of this whole rotten scheme and he paid a visit to Chief Screaming Chicken and this great YouTube explains the whole thing and that great action and Edward Everett Horton did a great job working with Adam West and here's the YouTube. Video not too bad, and please watch the whole clip. In this 2 minutes and 17 seconds clip - highlights the whole deal of this charter deal with the Savage, Tyler, and Wayne that has to be accounted for at Midnight and Batman's trying to make sure that the deal is set and making sure that everything is in order here. Then, later on Egghead hatches his plan by having all three Millionaires kidnapped and taken to his villain headquarters to delay the Raccoon Pelts Ceremony to do one the most diabolical plans ever to deduce the true identity of Batman. Mr. Bruce Wayne is held by mysterious force here. Egghead is deducing that Crime Fighting is an eggspensive hobby and has to be Man in his early 30's and ruling out Savage (who in Europe most of the time) and Tyler (the Baseball Owner, who is left handed) and strapping Bruce Wayne here to that INHUMAN device that's so diabolical that extracts the true identity of Batman. By the World's Greatest Criminal Mind - THE EGGHEAD. BatsFantastic Show!
