Batman Episode (54) … Second Season – Deep FreezeOriginal Air Date - November 10, 1966 Major Villain - Otto Preminger as Mr. Freeze Important Guest StarsDee Hartford as Miss Iceland Byron Keith as Mayor Linseed Marie Windsor as Nellie Majors My Thoughts about the ShowAfter escaping the torture of being Frosty Freezies by means of getting the heat exhaust pipe through their feets as hands and going back to the Batcave was a difficult thing to do. When, they got back to the Batcave; Alfred showed Batman a damaging newspaper article showing Batman wearing the watch from Commissioner Gordon and that's damaging enough to derail the Caped Crusader. While Miss Iceland still be held and having said that it's important to find her or otherwise the relations between Iceland and the United States could be in jeopardy. Back to Commissioner Gordon Office and with a slew of Newspaper Reporters including Nellie Majors that leading the attack of the character of Batman and the Gotham City is turning against the Dynamic Duo is increasing by the minute and with that in mind - it's doesn't look good for the Caped Crusaders. Earlier, the Dynamic Duo felt that it would best if we don't show up and vanish so that it will create a false front for Mr. Freeze and making him to believe that Batman and Robin are dead. Smart thinking on Batman and Robin. Panic Erupted all across Gotham City knowing that Mr. Freeze can engulf the entire Gotham City under ice exactly happen a million years ago unless Gotham City pays Mr. Freeze - One Billion Dollars. You hear that expression - One Billion Dollars all the time in this show. And, yet ... everyone is losing faith even Commissioner Gordon that lost all faith in Batman! Mr. Freeze is preparing Miss Iceland and while he is doing that in the most diabolical way ever and making her his wife is beyond comprehension and unthinkable and that strong determination on the part of Miss Iceland is very noble for a beauty queen that is righteously so. She has faith in the law and she will be free under the evil clutches of Mr. Freeze! A smart and beautiful lady that have faith in the law! The law is happen to be Batman and Robin! A great 4 minute video here showing the intense moments on that show that's makes this show a much better one than the previous one a day before. This shows that judgment is coming and having said that - Batman and Robin is making it right and just. And, thought of everything in preparation of their battle with Mr. Freeze down to wearing the Bat Thermal Underwear for Extreme Cold. Even they were caged ... they came prepared. They rigged the door so it's will explode in the right time and this time they are ready for a Bat Fight in the making to trap and defeat Mr. Freeze once for all. The Dynamic Duo were startled to see Mr. Freeze employed great length by encasing Miss Iceland in a block of ice is beyond unthinkable. Robin was shocked to see this and called Mr. Freeze ... "Demon" ... Batman was horrified beyond belief!!! After the Bat Fight is over and everything is taken care of by Batman getting the ice pick to get Miss Iceland out of that giant cake of ice and told her to warm yourself first and he told her that the Beauty Competition is on hold until you found and knowing her going back to that competition she is surely let her government to not damage the reputation of United States by saying Batman saved her. Reputation and Faith of Batman is restored here. Back to Commissioner Gordon's Office ... a proud Commissioner said it perfectly ... I haven't lost my faith in Batman! BatsGreat Show, so very diabolical, sense of hopelessness as Commissioner Gordon trying to raise 1 Billion Dollars even he has to mortgage every public building and that alone can't even raise the fund to cover Mr. Freeze demands. It went from 3 Bats to 5 Bats ... this is one of my favorite shows of the 2nd Season!

Contrast of Faith in Gotham CityStill, the campier elements rule in this episode. By far the best moment is the one involving the little boy. The kid stares into a shop window, displaying an odd mix of perfumes and Pepto Bismo arranged in front of a poster of Batman and Robin. He shouts, “Boo, Batman!” Apparently this six-year-old reads the Gotham newspaper and all the scathing articles being penned by reporter Nellie Majors (from the previous episode). Which, by the way, I got the impression from the last episode that Miss Majors may have been in league with Mr. Freeze. That doesn’t appear to be the case and although she does appear in this episode her less than honorable journalistic practices are never confronted. Anyhow, back to the kid…the highlight of the scene is Bruce’s response. “Nothing has ever cut me so deeply to the quick. No blow struck by any arch villain has ever hurt me so acutely as that little boy’s boo.” Fear not, though, at the end of the episode Batman meets up with the same boy (who just happens to be hanging out in the hall outside Gordon’s office) who he holds hands with while sharing an elevator ride. That’s not creepy at all! Source of the text above is found in this link below. Source of the TextThis is real Camp at it BEST! Talk about Night and Day and even the little six year old wanting to see Batman because he saw the Batmobile parked outside and waiting him to appear and saying this ... Batman, you're the GREATEST!Man, a stark contrast here in this show!

Comments: I loved the Egghead episodes. Vincent Price was brilliant!
Liberace episodes mixed feelings. Some elements I liked. The ladies were beautiful. Could not buy Liberace as a villain.
Mr Freeze. Also mixed feelings. I liked the premise.
Penguin. I love Burgess Meredith as the Penguin but these episodes were a little too silly for me.

Batman Episode (55) … Second Season – The Impractical JokerOriginal Air Date - November 16, 1966 Major Villain - Cesar Romero as the Joker Important Guest StarsKathy Kersh as Cornelia Christopher Cary as Angus Ferguson My Thoughts about the ShowSmashing Records, Burning Documents, and more and I figured that this show is going to be about Keys and all that. At Wayne Manor, Bruce is helping Dick with a geography paper, about the Rock of Gibraltar and how it’s the key to the Mediterranean, and how that should be the keynote of his paper and the whole show is based on Keys! So back to Police Headquarters and our Heroes deduce that this crazy crimes being committed and all that and this strongly suspect that the Joker is after the fabulous KEY that own by Scottish millionaire Angus Ferguson. Pretty Simple and the case even it's getting started here. Batman and Robin show up at the exhibit and browse a bit. When they check out the Key of Kaincardine, Joker also appears, opens his box—which seems to hypnotize the Dynamic Duo and leave them frozen in place; and then makes off with the fabulous key. Our heroes come to, dazed, to discover both Joker and the key to be gone. Angus Ferguson, the Scottish Millionaire is intended to sue the City of Gotham a sum of ... $8,000,523 and a three penny bit!So, after all this nonsense and more clues being pointed to our Caped Crusaders and as the Joker through the Television Sets aiming at Batman! Bruce and Dick wanted to watch the Green Hornet but this came on instead! So, back at the Batcave, Batman has the Batcomputer analyze new entries in the phone book for any names related to keys. They find Clavier Ankh and I don't want to explain how this came about ... It's drove me nuts! As the Caped Crusaders marches on to their destination based on all the wacky, senseless clues, and what nots and it's impossible for me to explain. They ran into Howard Duff who happen to be the window cameo; and a few minutes later they are met their doom by The Joker ... Batman becomes a Key and Robin waxed and notched and that's made the show a very bitter end. I'm just frustrated today and this is the best that I can do about this horrible show that I just watch! BatsJust One!

Having rewatched that episode recently as it aired on MeTV the first thing I thought when I saw her in that purple outfit was that it looked similar to the Batgirl costume which still hadn't appeared yet.

Batman Episode (56) … Second Season – The Joker's ProvokersOriginal Air Date - November 17, 1966 Major Villain - Cesar Romero as the Joker Important Guest StarsKathy Kersh as Cornelia Alan Napier as Egbert - Dual Role My Thoughts about the ShowAfter that last show that's left my head spinning along and Batman uses his spare house key to derail the machine that Joker is using to skeletonize Batman and did a tremendous Bat-Fight with Joker' men and save Robin from being totally waxed. Back to Batcave and both Alfred and Batman cleaned off Robin's Body and Uniform back to it's original form and Robin thanked his lucky stars to his underwater swimming lessons to hold his breath from the waxed process by the Joker's Men. Later on, Commissioner Gordon got an Envelope addressed to Batman and he called the Caped Crusaders what to do and Batman told him to read the contents over via Bat Phone. Joker sent a note to Batman via Gordon in the shape of a key. It reads: “Thanks to the work of a single sphere, you saw what happened to time right here! Now regard with care my final o-ho… I’ve a gargoyles key and away I go-go!” Batman and Robin seem to think that “o-ho” symbolizes H20, or water. (Never mind that water is two H’s and one O.) That leads them somehow to the conclusion that the Joker wishes to poison the water supply—especially since a night watchman at the reservoir spotted someone “resembling” the Joker there two nights ago. From www.tor.comAs a kid back then, I couldn't even figure out what this all about and having watching this show 12 hours ago it's seems to confusing for an adult to figure out and that's makes this show undeem watchable to all fans of Batman and that's why I felt that this show and the previous show - done so poorly. This is a cute scene of Alfred's Alf Cycle ... Alan Napier in his double role as Night Watchman Egbert and he did a great job doing both role just masterfully. Joker penetrated the Water Works at Gotham City so he can take over Gotham City and Alfred singlehandedly stopped the Joker from doing so and the Joker gave him a Bribe of $5.00 to get permission to enter. Then, Alfred got hold of the Key Machine that the Joker made and start playing with it and causing mayhem inside the Water Works and all. A cute 44 Second You Tube here. Then, later on after this scene here ... The Dynamic Duo showed up and stopped the Joker cold and his henchmen and Robin puts the Bat Cuffs on the Joker and everything back to square one and all this Key Nonsense puts to rest. After another Bat Fight, and Aunt Harriet is out of gas and she at the Water Works and discovered that the Night Watchman is a splitting image of Alfred and Alfred thinks quickly to disguise his voice and mannerism and then later on Batman got a Midnight Snack to Alfred and Aunt Harriet was surprised to see Batman and Robin and she told them that she is out of gas and Robin assisted her by going to the Batmobile and getting spare gas that the Caped Crusaders carry so that she can go on her way. BatsSo far, this show and the previous show and I've totally forgot how bad these shows were and to me it's so bad that the writers did a poor job of putting it altogether and to me - it's disaster in the making. This is the best that I can do and being an adult here - it's would be difficult for me to explain to a young kid how these two shows to come about.

Batman Episode (57) … Second Season – Marsha, Queen of DiamondsOriginal Air Date - November 23, 1966 Major Villainess - Carolyn Jones as Marsha, Queen of Diamonds Important Guest StarsWoody Strode - Grand Mogul Estelle Winwood - Aunt Hilda James O'Hara - Sergeant O'Leary My Thoughts about the Show
Sergeant O'Leary warned his men about the Queen of Diamonds and as soon an important car pulls up and it's Chief O'Hara and the Queen of Diamonds was out shopping for the Pretzel Diamonds and they walked away not paying a single cent! Here's the YouTube clip. Commissioner Gordon called and asked for the Caped Crusaders assistance of locating Chief and by time that they arrived at the office they could not find him at all. Then, a mere minute went by his phone ring and Marsha is calling the Dynamic Duo of the whereabouts of both O'Hara and Gordon. Aunt Hilda pictured below More a role in our next show. Her role is expanded in our next show. Here's the Caped Crusader being knocked in a love inducing dart that Marsha just fired at him and it's took every once of effort to avoid the drug taking over his body, personality, and so forth and he was able to do with every ounce of fiber of his near perfect body that he takes good care of for his efforts of combating crime in Gotham City. Then a furious Bat Fight and her side is losing the Sword Fight Battle and Marsha puts in another Love Dart and this time she fires one right at the Boy Wonder so that he can fight her battle of the Caped Crusader and Batman dares to hurt him and let's the Boy Wonder let him have it. Then the most shocking event of all time as the word gets out of Marsha - The Queen of Diamonds is getting married to the Caped Crusader as everyone watched the Television as the Announcer on the Set telling that Batman agrees to marry one of the most wicked woman and quite beautiful - the Queen of Diamonds and that's what's going to happen next !!! Marsha is becoming .... Mrs. Batman! How shocking it is the Caped Crusader is about to say those immortal words ... I do!Here's the dramatic clip of that moment of Batman marrying the villainess - Marsha Queen of Diamonds! BatsIt's a pretty dramatic show but it's has it's builds up to the end as Batman getting married to the Queen of Diamonds. I just can't give it 5 Bats because Marsha and Batman pretty much took up the entire show and that's brought it down to 4 Bats.

Batman Episode (58) … Second Season – Marsha's Scheme of DiamondsOriginal Air Date - November 24, 1966 Major Villainess - Carolyn Jones as Marsha, Queen of Diamonds Important Guest StarsWoody Strode - Grand Mogul Estelle Winwood - Aunt Hilda My Thoughts about the ShowBefore he said ... "I do" ... the ceremony was interrupted by a Man and a Woman coming in .... It was Alfred and Aunt Harriet there to save the day for Batman from marrying that awful villainess proclaiming himself a lawyer from Liverpool England that under the firm of Soames, Stillwell, and Thistlewaite. And, handed the minister the wedding certificate, a card to Marsha and another card to Batman that says ... There was no other way, sirThey raced to the Batmobile to save Robin and the others and having done that ... Batman and Robin raced to the Batcave and do some thinking of what to do with the capture of Marsha, the Queen of Diamonds They even talked about the effects of the Love Darts and all that ... it was great lesson for Crimefighters that needs to discuss this so that they understand the effects of drugs that villains and villainess creates to thwart the deeds of Crimefighters everywhere. THE QUEEN OF DIAMONDS ... PLAYING CARD. So, Aunt Hilda and Marsha is trying to make potion to make them into toads and during the Bat-Fight - Hilda tried potions after potions to convert them into toads and with no rotten luck and eventually the Dynamic Duo dropped the last of Marsha's henchmen and she threw down an explosive gas bomb on the Dynamic Duo to buy her more time so that she can convince Commissioner Gordon to find out where the Batcave is so she can get her hands on the Bat Diamond that powered the Bat Computer. Here she is making that demands .... So, the Grand Mogul using his voice to throw off the Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara and after a careful voice work by the Grand Mogul to trick them into revealing the location of the Bat Diamond and all that. So after that being played here and the real Dynamic Duo appear and how you managed to escape ... said Marsha and Batman said it best using our computations from the Batcave and the Bat Diamond that you are after with it's took a mere footnote in time to solve it. 3,724,521 possible combinations Child Play for the Bat Computer so that they can escape! BatsKind of a letdown here and sorry that I grade it 2 Bats ...

Batman Episode (59) … Second Season – Come Back, Shame Batman Episode (60) … Second Season – It's How You Play the GameOriginal Air Date(s) - November 30, 1966 & December 1, 1966 Major Villain - Cliff Robertson as Shame Important Guest Stars Joan Staley as Okie Annie Eric Shea as Andy My Thoughts about the Show(s)In the 2nd Part of the Show it's had Colonel Klink from Hogan's Heroes pop in a window cameo and I find it odd one indeed having a rival company like CBS to share a star from another network like CBS to appear here. This show is so done so poorly it's beyond description of and having said that it's so difficult for me to watch this silliness and campy style of a moronic character by the name of Shame because I just can't stand his voice and mannerism on these two shows because ... I just can't keep a straight face about it. And, this annoying little boy named Andy ... keep saying Come Back Shame so many times ... it's drove me against the wall. Andy ... Played by Eric Shea. Do you want to know the most moronic scene in these two shows is when Batman and Robin at High Noon facing a gunfight of where 9 Guns with Six Bullets in them ... 9x6 equals 54 Bullets .... With all this shootings and all that ... it's impossible to count them and yet Batman managed to do so and that's makes this show very laughable in my own opinion and therefore I just can't watch this at all. I remember this like it was back in the last time that I watch this show 3 years ago. BatsBig Fat ZERO
