...Alan Reed as General MacGruder Robert Hastings as Major Beasley Fred Flintstone and Commissioner Gordon. Yep, Bob Hastings would go on to voice Commissioner Gordon in Batman TAS. Reed was the voice of Fred Flintstone until his death, when Henry Corden took over.

Batman Episodes (81 & 82) … Second SeasonThe Joker's Last Laugh The Joker's Epitaph Original Air DatesFebruary 15, 16 1967 Major VillainCesar Romero as the Joker Important Guest StarsPhyllis Douglas as Josie Oscar Beregi Jr. (2nd Show Only) as Dr. Floyd Two Shows HighlightsFirst of all, I consider these two shows having Robots - Boff, Yock, and Mr. Glee not your ordinary henchmen and I just don't feel it's has the Batman TV Show appeal. Dr. Floyd was shown in the 2nd show who was examining Bruce Wayne at the end of the Show didn't do much at all and I was disappointed in that. I just find these two shows very disappointing and hastily made. It was cool seeing the Jokermobile! It's all about counterfeit money, comic books, and Bruce Wayne appointing the Joker to Vice Chairman of Gotham City National Bank, and the nutty (future) marriage - potentially to Josie - Joker's Moll is so crazy that I find that storyline is not my cup of tea. Honestly. This scene here in the 2nd Show was nutty too and I just can't believe that they took out Bruce Wayne out in a Straight-Jacket and that's alone questioned the loyalty of Commissioner Gordon relationship with him and at the beginning of the second show - Seeing Alfred dressed as Batman climbing up the wall and concerned about his vertigo was nuts! ... I totally forgot about that and having an old man doing that is beyond craziness. Alfred as Batman, Climbing up the Wall was beyond Speechless! Batman pulling a Joke on the Joker is priceless and seeing the sign saying Laugh, Criminals, Laugh was the only good thing about the first show and that's was priceless. I just loved Cesar's emotions here. To be honest here, I did not care for Phyllis Douglas as Josie and having her as Joker's Moll is not your typical moll in Batman's TV Series. I felt that she had too much air time and these two shows is about Robin doing all the dirty work was a little tough on him and not enough Batman. Because of all this and the last Bat Fight of where Boff, Yock, Mr. Glee, and the Joker taking on the Dynamic Duo with Commissioner Gordon on hand was good and done with great style and precision that alone kind of save the two shows itself. As far as Cesar Romero's Performance as the Joker ... these two appearances were weak in my mind and I have to say this - I was disappointed in that. BatsThis is the best that I can do. Sorry.

For the Record
Catwoman Goes to College & Batman Displays His Knowledge will be done by Saturday. I have four more shows to do by the end of this month and going double with the Green Hornet Show and spending more time to it. In order to do that ... I'm not reviewing the horrible show involving Tallulah Bankhead as the Black Widow. I'm canceling that for good. So, in that alone ... I'll have done 94 out of 120 shows done by end of this month.
I'm taking the month of December off and start with Enter Batgirl, Exit Penguin in January 2018 and be done with 3rd Season by end of February. The only two shows that I won't do at all is The Great Escape & The Great Train Robbery that starred Cliff Robertson as Shame.
I just can't stand that character ... Sorry Cliff Robertson fans.
Thanks Bat Fans!

Batman Episodes (83 & 84) … Second SeasonCatwoman Goes to College Batman Displays His Knowledge Original Air DatesFebruary 22, 23 1967 Major VillainessJulie Newmar as The Catwoman Important Guest StarsDavid Lewis as Warden Crichton (Both Shows) Stanley Adams as Captain Courageous (Both Shows) Jacques Bergerac as French Freddy Touche (2nd Show) Whitney Blake as Amber Forever (2nd Show) Two Shows HighlightsArt Linkletter made a window appearance on Batman and unfortunately there is not a single video available and he appeared in the first show. Back to the shows ... It's all started of Catwoman's men stolen a statue of Batman that was made out of mold of the Actual Caped Crusader and that's kind of convinced Commissioner Gordon to make a call to the Caped Crusader himself and which he took the freshman beanie back to the Batcave for Analysis. Then, later on Catwoman was granted a parole while she was taking her afternoon cat nap and learned that Bruce Wayne is going to be her parole officer. So, later on at class at Gotham City University - Catwoman enrolled in a Criminology Class and Batman deduces that this beanie and made references to a man that's 36 years old ... yada yada yada ... and Catwoman was shocked and made a counter measure against Batman. Earlier on, Catwoman made a Costume and told one of her henchman to put on a Batman Costume and all that; and later on sipping a soda with Batman. And, Captain Courageous arrested Batman for knocking out a Supermarket and Batman has an alibi with a 50 times kook that CC mentioned earlier. Great Scene here. Then, he was granted a phone call to his lawyer and his lawyer is located in a firm of Alfred and Alfred. Captain C learned that Batman escaped and Commissioner Gordon said to him no bars can't hold the Caped Crusader. Masses of Students are heading for trouble and Catwoman is in charge of here and a good Bat Fight and Batman escaped the Giant Coffee Cup containing acid and he was Drugged by Catwoman and she claimed that a Female Tears are Woman's Great Weapons against man and crimefighter. One of the coolest scene of which Batman in the 2nd Show of which he uses the Bat Phone to call on Alfred to warn him about Commissioner Gordon calling Bruce Wayne and it was handled superbly and it was kind of cool of the dialogue was used here. Freddy the Fence made an appearance here and he was helping Catwoman to sell those Opals and the best way to get rid of them to return them for a reward of 3 Million and he's get one-third and that's the best that Catwoman can do with it and having said that he had a great fencing lesson with Batman earlier and I enjoyed that scene very much. Robin saying "Holy Zorro" was a gem to hear him say that! Then, Brown came to Police Headquarters to deliver a message to Batman and a great scene of Catwoman seducing Batman. I was watching these clips here and I was very sad to see that this is the last time all Batman 66 Fans to see Julie Newmar as Catwoman here. I love Lee Meriwether in the Batman Movie and I had a hard time accepting Eartha Kitt that became Catwoman in the 3rd and Final Season. Lee and Julie in my book were great Catwoman and I have say this that Julie had an edge over Lee because of her seductive ways of doing things with Batman and the closing statement she says ... Batman has my Heart and means well. I was thinking of that and the way she said it shows earnest and faith and all the shows that she done; it his baritone voice that makes her melt with the Caped Crusader himself. Bats and another one too! I was watching until the very end of the 2nd Show and everything about the last 7 minutes was nothing short of perfection as Catwoman walking down the stairs with her great legs seducing Batman and the great Bat Fight at the end and Robin saying 4 against 2 and Batman saying his words are like gems coming from the Boy Wonder himself was great. It's deserved 6 Bats and this show erases my bad memory with her teaming up with the Sandman. Good Bye Julie and Hello Eartha Kitt as Catwoman in the 3rd Season and that's was sad to see. Julie was the Best ... Catwoman ever!

Do you know if Burt Ward & Adam West were friends outside of the TV show? Not so sure about during; but, they were hardly friendly over the following years. There was a point where Ward refused to sign anything that had been signed by West. They eventually made up, though.

Do you know if Burt Ward & Adam West were friends outside of the TV show? They were and they made tons of appearances with fans across the nation and I attended a function in San Diego seeing both of them and they were making jokes and answering questions about their times as Batman and Robin. Burt Ward really dig Adam West and he and Mr. West had great chemistry on the show and that alone made them enjoyed their time together. Before 3rd Season started the Producers of the Show wanted to drop Burt Ward and replace him with Yvonne Craig and that's made Adam a little infuriated and having said that ... Mr. West told them that Madge (Aunt Harriet) Blake isn't feeling well and having health issues and she died two years after the last show ended and convinced the Producers to replace Blake with Craig. West won that argument hands down. Mr. West told me that and that's the power that Adam has and that's fueled the friendship of Burt and Adam outside of the TV Show even better.

I do agree with you in the first 10 years (give or take) after the show has ended; but I did see them signing autographs together in 1990 and they were quite generous with fans. You made me think ... thanks for sharing that.

I do not know the relationship of West and Ward from after the show has ended to the start of the 80's. That's a 12 years gap that I don't know anything about them. I've only known Mr. West from the early 80's to 1999 and met him 4 times and Burt Ward twice. Met West and Ward once in the mid 80's. I've just e-mailed a friend of mine he told me what you said here is very true and I was sad to hear him said that and not until later on they eventually made up somewhere in the 80's. I learned something new today and thanks for pointing it out. md62 ... Cody is right on the money of what he shared earlier and I just wanted to make sure that I don't know much about the relationship of these two gentlemen from 1968 to 1980. Those years - I have no clues whatsoever.

I never met either, though I had heard there had been some bad blood. In his book Have A Nice Day (I think, might have been his second one) pro wrestler Mick Foley (Mankind, Cactus Jack, Dude Love) wrote about being at some event where they were signing autographs and he was a huge fan of the show; but had heard there was bad blood between them. He was able to get them both to sign something (possibly a copy of one of their books). I read West's book when it came out; but, never read Ward's and it's been long enough I don't really remember West's much; so, I can't say it got a mention in there or not. I believe it did bring up some of the dressing room liasons that went on (not anyone prominent or a guest star, as I recall).
Just in general, as a fan, you hope actors of a favorite film or tv show were good friends and got on well; but, people are people. I do know both went through their period of wanting to get away from the show (probably while they were trying to get better roles, more than any other time) but came to accept it (and making a good living off the nostalgia certainly helped). Lord knows, there is nothing worse, as a fan, as to see one of the stars have total disdain for fans and hatred towards the show, ala David Cassidy (both) and the Partridge Family or Eve Plumb (mostly just the overpowering shadow of the show) and the Brady Bunch, or the Trek cast, where there are/have been deep resentments.
I know Lee Majors kind of avoided things related to the Six Million Dollar man for some years (he was also busy with The Fall Guy and other shows); but, has embraced things in recent years and done the convention circuit.
West and Ward did seem to be having fun with that Back to the Batcave movie project, as was everyone, really. I loved the touch of Lyle Waggoner narrating and the Duo reacting to it, finally tracing him to a hidden booth, where he remarked he should have been the star of the series.
