I read this was originally supposed to be a movie that would have come out sometime after the second Avengers Infinity War film. I was glad to see they decided to go with a TV series seeing as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has already been using both the Inhumans and the Kree quite a bit. The first episode is set to premier September 29 on ABC and will be eight episodes and apparently the first episode will also debut earlier in IMAX September 1. Marvel recently released a teaser for this TV series and now the first actual trailer is out. Honestly I wasn't all that impressed by the trailer or the casting but I will be checking this out once it airs. Lockjaw does look pretty adorable though.

hmm. . you'd think the "money" shot would be Medusa's hair.
but not animated at all?
and at least Crystal appears to be wearing her classic outfit (in the scene where she's being escorted out).
but the ladies didn't get any powers in this trailer??

Ugh the look of it though. This is why Netflix needs to do everything related to Marvel...they get it right with the quality of the casting, story and just the way it is filmed. Now granted, I have heard bad/poor things about Iron Fist and have yet to watch but I think generally they put out the better product. This to me looks campy...I am sure I will watch it eventually

I wonder how it's going to tie into Agents of SHIELD, but on it's own merits it looks pretty blah.

I just can't get over how cheap it looks
Even in comparison to the other ABC/CW shows.
Marvel should just put everything they do outside of the main MCU movies on Netflix.

That looks unbelievably awful... maybe not Powers awful, but really really bad.

Gorgon loooks like a 5 and dime cosplayer who's grumpy over missing Taco Tuesday
Iwan Rheon is always a treat, but here... ack.
The dialogue is on par with a 1990's sci-fi/syfy channel produced 'film'. in fact the whole thing 'feels' like that.
cheap, cheap, cheap.
the inhumans all look like utterly bedraggled HUMANS.
I enjoyed Roger Corman's FF more than this.

Well I liked it.
Kirby's designs are so out of this world that they would have been difficult to incorporate directly into a show meant to be more realistic than a colourful comic book, so I'm willing to accept simplifications... and as such, I think Blackagarasgtahorgtah Boltagonnegabbgfhsnu's leather jacket with its zig-zag motifs was a nice touch. (We also see the motif used as some kind of official emblem on a wall in Attilan). Lockjaw's swiping teleportation effect is pretty nice, despite my deep dislike of CGI characters. As for Black Bolt against the police, it recalls those halcyon days of Astonishing Tales in which he walked the streets of New York incognito.
It's true the dialogue was not particularly enticing... No humour, and plenty of angst and hand wringing... but I'm willing to give this a shot.

I've always been a mild fan of The Inhumans series/characters, but did get a couple of their MMW years ago. They were kind of like the X-men, but weren't mutants.
Just saw the trailer - this looks AMAZING! I'm very impressed by everything shown here. The characters look enough like they do in the comic so that you can tell who they are. Black Bolt's "sonic voice" effects looks great.
It looks like Black Bolt is teleported to Hawaii. I wonder how the location will fit into the storyline - should be interesting.
They didn't show this in the trailer, but I wonder if Medusa (the woman with red hair) will be able to use her hair as a weapon, like in the comics?!

Also, can someone explain to me why they would choose to film such a cheap looking show in IMAX?
Makes zero sense to me
