Hello folks, I've been lurking about here since the birth of the new board. Very little time to post, but I've enjoyed reading the review threads quite a bit. Seems like I might have a little more free time for a bit, so I thought I'd try out a game.
I call it "The One Where..." game.
Example: The one where Thor fights Graviton and ends up giving him an injection to put him to sleep.
Then you try and guess the series and issue number. Hopefully whoever guesses correctly will then contribute one of their own.
Came up with this through a discussion with a friend who can remember the issue number of pretty much anything. I can't and always refer to stories as "The one where...".

This one was from Thor #324. www.supermegamonkey.net/chronocomic/entries/thor_324.shtmlHow about the one where the Thing had to save the day with a "frisbee"?

Correct!
Whew, that's a rough one. I'm drawing a blank. I thought it might have been referring to an issue of MTIO I recalled where Ben played some sort of game with the Inhumans, but I guess that was more of a football game. Anyone else?

Assuming I was right, my choice is remember that one where they used the Xenomorphs as a religious parable?

Assuming I was right, my choice is remember that one where they used the Xenomorphs as a religious parable? Sorry, no. Maybe he used a frisbee in that one too, but it's not what I was referring to. Here's a hint:

I had that issue as a kid (it was the earliest FF I bought of the stands) and it was my first thought for the challenge, but I figured the hockey references made it a puck analogue not a frisbee, so I disregarded it as an option.

I figured the hockey puck reference in the panel I posted would be enough to give it away. You're up.

Here's a hint: I knew he used that trick more than once, in Two-in- One #70 he took out Live-Wire and the truck he was using to steel Alicia's sculptures by using a man-hole cover like a Frisbee. Definitely one of my favorite FF stories.
