Ding Ding Ding! Here's your cupie doll: I'm a big fan of the Aliens series and this was one of my favorites. Yes easily for me one of best pieces of Aliens fiction. Mignola was a perfect artist for this book. I almost thought Sacrafice, cause I remember there was some religious use in that book but I haven't read that one as much as I have Salvation. Give me a moment and I'll think of one to post.

The one where Thanos finds out he is a father .... of sorts. Off the top of my head, i'll say Infinity Gauntlet #2. I think he confronts Nebula, who claims to be his grand daughter, and disfigures her. Of course , In the Mini Thanos Rising, he kills all his offspring from various women around the galaxy in a retcon.

It's latter than Infinity Gauntlet. In this Thanos has inadvertently created another entity with another being more powerful than he. My description may be lacking. Perhaps if I can think on it a bit it will come to me better.

The Avengers: Celestial Quest #8 Death: The Rot is our child. Thanos: No! You are insane, lady! We have never been intimate! Death: No Thanos -- nor would I have is any other way. It is both of us. Death did not carry this child. Death's human shape is but a robe. It grew in the emptiness of space unknown. But it is our child. Thanos: No! No! I do not create! I only destroy! Death: Tell yourself what you will, but the rot must end -- and only we can end it.
