My favourite part from that era was Peter’s flat, the one with the wooden Indian chief and the run-down comfy chair. It all felt so authentic, and because of Pete’s new location and new neighbours, there seemed to suddenly be plenty of story opportunities suddenly appearing. There were a few episodes that were a little too self-referential, the bane of long-lasting series, but the mag maintained the impression that the overall storyline was going somewhere.

Yeah, you're right. Peter's Chelsea apartment was very authentic and, I always thought, looked very comfy and inviting. His bad tempered landlady Mrs. Muggins was a great minor character in the books at this time too.
