I voted for John Stewart, Katma Tui and Mogo. I would have liked to vote for Salaak, Ch'p, Tomar-Re or Driq the Green Lantern corps(e).

I voted for Alan Scott, John Stewart and Kilowog. Stewart far more for his Animated existence than comics...although Mosaic was just a great underrated comic. Alan Scott because he's the original and still the best. And Kilowog because everyone else is a Poozer.
Next tier would be Mogo, Ch'p, G'Nort and Salaak.
Hal and Kyle are definitely Poozers.

I'm going to share 15 Green Lanterns and do a double whammy of Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz -- starting in a day or two. At this point I'm not adding any more new Green Lanterns at this moment.
Ch'p Tomar Re Salaak
These three will be added in with the original 12 that I'll be commenting on.

15 Simon Baz & Honorable Mention Jessica Cruz First of all -- I'm doing both of these Green Lanterns together as a pair and right now today, I'm focusing on Simon Baz and how he came to existence and remember I'm not a fan of this character and I'll reveal my final grade of this character at the end of this discussion that will requires me -- potentially a week or 10 days to cover it. Beware, that I'm not planning on writing a whole lot and I don't want a lengthy discussion on these two characters and yet -- I find that Jessica Cruz is something that I'm more attune to her and that will be discussed when the time is right. Simon Baz came in during the dreaded New 52 DC Reboot back in the year (September) 2011 and to me, that reboot to my opinion is a disaster in the making and I didn't care for that reboot at all. I've bought about 80 to 100 issues during the life of the New 52 and kept those issues until -- I decided to sell all of them including Earth 2 that focus on JSA and other heroes as well and I kept on buying all of those issues and kept an unbroken strings of them until I sold every issues during the course of the year around 2014-15 and used that monies to buy DC Archives and Marvel Masterworks of which -- I moved all of my issues to a very dear friend of mine that had his basement converted into a giant reading room and transported 110 DC Archives and Marvel Masterworks and between the two of us -- we have all DC Archives and Marvel Masterworks together. I have a key to his Basement and I can come in anytime from Monday to Friday -- 9am to 4pm daily to read any of them with no problems at all. He and I worked out a great deal and I was happy to spend about 10 hours a week reading them. His house is a mere 10 minutes driving time and he has ample parking for my car. Anyway, that's out of the way -- and now a short introduction to Simon Baz. My first reaction to this character -- It is Mexican Green Lantern having possess both a ring and a shiny Gun in his disposal! -- It's took me six years to finally realized that this Green Lantern is truly a Muslim -- despite members of my LCS telling me so and I did not connect that all -- I think that DC Comics owes me an apology for deceiving me and that's alone bothers me so much! This is the closest Mexican Wrestling Mask that's somewhat resembles -- Simon Baz! More on Simon Baz in a couple of days -- Stay Tuned Members and Guests!!

Hal Jordan. Its all been said before, but its worth repeating: his Silver Age / space age pedigree made him a compelling hero for a new age, and unlike Alan Scott--a character I always found as dry as toast left out in the sun for a week--Jordan was one of the earliest post-pulp era heroes that was suited to believably exist in the "real world" of DC's earth and the space opera side, and not just because he was placed there. He had the explorer's kind of character to pull it off.
His being so much the "Stalwart American" as Jordan was a unique addition to the aliens, scientists, rich boys and other he worked with, as (arguably) the most grounded of late 50s/early 60s superheroes alter egos. Being almost the picture of the Eisenhower/Kennedy era image of what a heroic American was, it was GL who--more than any other character--was the perfect candidate to eventually be challenged as he was with his early 70s partnership with Green Arrow, where his older-generation sensibilities had to take a slowly radicalized change, meaning he would never be the guy seen in the pages of Showcase ever again. He was the "sci-fi guy"-- the ultimate point man for the bigger, otherworldly threats, yet he was still a relatable man.

Couldn't vote...unfortunately, nothing about Green Lantern has ever intrigued me enough to pick up an issue Agreed. Hal's always a been such a tight ass of a character. Why give the ring to such an uptight non-imaginative person? It's not really about how imaginative someone is...it's about whether they are brave and heroic enough to use the ring to help others.

Simon Baz & Jessica Cruz: The GLC already has 4 GL's from Earth. Why did it need 2 more? And why would a GL need a gun?

Simon Baz - Justice League Involvement This is going to be brief, during the NEW 52 reboot -- The Justice League went through a major makeover having established two teams during this time and one of them is this team co-lead by Steve Trevor and Martian Manhunter and they were somewhat a disappointment to me and this team eventually became Justice League United and that was another disappointment to me also. One of the thing that really bothers me is the fact of the matter that this team -- places Simon Baz on this team and he was woefully inexperienced and that made me think what in the world that DC Comics is thinking. With the other team that replaces Martian Manhunter with Cyborg and the art during the time of NEW 52 was so average in general and the stories weren't also average at best and knowing that -- I felt that DC Comics did a major disappointment with the Justice League in General. What bothers me is the fact that they had Catwoman and I felt that Steve Trevor is not Justice League Material and let alone they made him co-leader with the Manhunter from Mars and that irks me. Simon Baz was so out of place and I'm still thinking of him as a Mexican Wrestler and not a Muslim at all and that's was so ingrained in my mind that I did not enjoy any of the Justice League Adventures at all. Matter of Fact -- I haven't read any Justice League Adventures -- except a few babbling stories during the Justice League United, Justice League Dark, and the Lex Luthor team, and so forth -- from 2000 on -- the whole JLA Teams that came to existence was a low point of my career of reading that Supergroup from DC Comics and it's deserved a F in my own opinion. Simon Baz is not qualified to be a JLA Member at this point of time -- That's my own humble and honest opinion. Anyway, tomorrow -- I will try to get you all my views and understanding of why he's needs a gun! It will take me awhile and bear with me.
