Jessica Cruz and Simon Baz Partnership Spotlight on Jessica Cruz She is more level-headed than Simon, she doesn't have the experience of Simon. but she's eager to learn and trying her best to be a member of the Green Lantern Corps. She is quite beautiful and I was told that she looks a lot like Penelope Cruz pictured above. She has a partnership with Simon Baz and been mentored by Hal Jordan and shared a battery of power with Simon Baz for an undetermined amount of time. I really embrace her more than Simon and she is very dedicated Green Lantern and most importantly wants to exceed as being a Green Lantern. I learned about her a month ago and I'm a babe in the woods in understanding of her talents, her drive, and her passion of being a member of an elite team of Green Lanterns around. I feel that she will be a shining force in DC Comics and knowing that her place in the Justice League is notable. I'm going to try to track down a copies of her adventure with the Justice League and this is one of Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver better characters that they created together. Lovely and Capable and still has lots to learn and having said that -- she'll exceed as a member of the Green Lantern Corps.

Hm, of those listed, my choices would be:
Hal, Guy, and Kyle.
I think Jessica Cruz has been a wonderful addition to the Corps, probably my favorite GL at the moment.
Honorable mention goes to Arisia.
My personal list would also include Razer and Aya from the underrated yet great cartoon, Green Lantern the Animated Series.

Why Simon Baz needs a Gun! Why he needs a Gun -- In the previous page -- md62 had asked me this question directly and here's the answer that I've thinks qualify to make a sound argument about it and the reason why. Please read the link carefully and from September 2011 to the issue Green Lantern Volume 1 #17 -- the issue that Simon gave up his Gun on the urgency of Batman and coddling of Hal and other sources of which I'm not quite clear on because I don't think that I'm not qualified to answer them. But, I'm giving you an answer that I think it is the right one for all of you here in this forum. In Green Lantern 1 #17 -- I'm going show you a series of panels that the moment of which he finally gives up his Gun. GREEN LANTERN SIMON BAZ GIVES UP HIS GUNHe gave up his Gun and got a word from Batman -- Jessica Cruz was available and witnessed the transaction and finally Commissioner Gordon took custody of the Gun and all that. My feeling of Simon Baz -- he has lots to learn and with friends like Batman, Jessica Cruz, and others and his friendship with Hal Jordan and other seasoned Green Lantern that I think he's will have a good future and took me awhile and long time understanding that he's not a Mexican -- but a Muslim of which came to me by a total shock and disbelief. Because I didn't quite understand him very well from 2011 until Green Lantern Vol 1 -- Issue 17 of which it came out last year in April of 2017 of which I finally understand the need of the Gun and his problems that I felt that I've mistreated and did not understand the nature of it. That's my grade for him is an Incomplete and didn't quite understand him completely when I was researching him in the past 10 days and talking to people at the LCS that I go to. So, that ends Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz discussion -- and now, I'm moving on to Guy Gardner the Green Lantern that I've the most troubled and that's will begins initially on Monday at the latest and/or Tuesday -- and some of things that I've think that I did not quite enjoy his time as Green Lantern and you'll be shocked the Grade that I'll give him at the end of that discussion.

As this is general thoughts on GL, I'd recommend everyone check out Dave Gibbons spell on the title. I've seen his art here described as, 'what superhero comics are trying to look like' and that's a great description. It's pretty much perfect.

14 Guy Gardner Green Lantern - 3 Votes I think not very highly of this Character at all -- and the reasons why, is that he's arrogant, rude, power hungry, and not much a team player with the Justice League. I felt that his costume is very much out of place and not what I've expected and I considered it one of the worst Superhero Costumes around. I hated that chain around his waist, his horrible red hair and it's cut, and most importantly -- I just can't stand his turtleneck sweater that he wears. I just don't understand why they did this character in the first place and most importantly why they did him? I'll never know. His time with this Justice League Group -- one of my least favorites This group is not one of my favorites -- despite having Captain Marvel, Doctor Fate, Martian Manhunter, and Batman. I felt that Black Canary was looking so out of place in that gad-awful costume of her and adding the insult -- has Guy Gardner in that ridiculous outfit of his -- and the others are okay in my book; but still this group didn't embraced me as much of the original 7, the Satellite Era, JLA group that Grant Morrison did for 30-40 issues, and most importantly this group did not suit me well. But, it did gave me this - One Punch and he's out! ... This is from Justice League #5 and this is one of those moments that I was waiting for and happy to see Batman taking him out. I've never, ever cared for Guy anyway! My Grade for Guy Gardner is a borderline D Minus and F -- More like 50/50 and that's why I've never, ever cared about him.

Guy Gardner Warrior I've never really cared for his Warrior persona either and these two costumes and one with the Green Lantern above -- are the worst costumes in DC Comics History. Those three would make the top 10 on my list of the worst costumes ever. Next on my list is Salaak Green Lantern and that's coming your way around Wednesday and/or Thursday of this week.

Guy is a jerk but he's entertaining.
We're all trying to forget Warrior, though I liked that he had that bar, Warrior's.

Guy is a jerk but he's entertaining. Guy is quite an entertainer and all that ... and I've had a hard time dealing with it and having said that he was a jerk going about it and that's irks me the most. And, that's how I sum him up as a superhero.

Guy, particularly as portrayed in the JL years, wasn't meant to be liked. He was meant to be entertaining. If you admire him then there's probably a flaw in your character. He's in the tradition of Reggie Mantle and other semi-antagonists who you are supposed to love to hate.
