Miracleman #5 Six from Sirius 2 #3 Swamp Thing #47Looks like these were my steady three series at the time, same ones every month around then. I'd be happy to read more about Six from Sirius 2 Shaxper had a review thread of both the Six from Sirius miniseries on the old Classics board, don't know if he ever managed to retrieve it. I'm a fan of the Moench + Gulacy creative team so I liked them quite a bit. Nothing ground-breaking, but solid SF adventure stories.

'Mazing Man #5 All-Star Squadron #57 Aquaman #4 - I need to go back and re-read this sometime, because I remember very little about it, aside from the striking artwork. Batman #395 Cerebus #83 Daredevil #231 DC Challenge #7 - Another one I don't remember much about, except that it was pretty dumb. DC Comics Presents #93 Detective Comics #562 Electric Warrior #1 - A series that went through a lot of crazy twists and turns during it's short run. Not my favorite Moench book, but an ambitious and interesting experiment. Elementals #6 - Willingham really doesn't get enough credit for his role in the "postmodern superhero" movement of the '80s. Firestar #3 Legend of Wonder Woman #1 - They should have gone with this as the official Wonder Woman reboot instead of Perez's version. Yeah, I said it. Marvel Fanfare #26 Miracleman #6 Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #6 Power Pack #22 Shadow #1 Swamp Thing #48 Thor #367 - Swamp Thing and Thor were probably the books I looked forward to the most each month in this era. Both had that sense of "Holy cow, what will they come up with next?" Twisted Tales of Bruce Jones #2 Uncanny X-Men #205 Vision and the Scarlet Witch #8 Who's Who #15

Batman:The Dark Knight #1 - I liked Miller from his Marvel work and the artwork on this looked interesting; was this the issue with Alan Moore's intro? That might have been an influence as well.
Miracleman #7 - like much of Moore's work back then, this series seemed to burst with new ideas every issue. Very nice Gulacy cover.
Swamp Thing #49 - another Alan Moore production: he seemed to have something to do with all the best comics around that time - I think he even wrote an intro to Mechanics, the L&R colour reprint
