Many years ago, in the comic fanzine Comics Buyer's Guide, was a regular feature by Robert ingersoll called The Law Is A Ass. He was a lawyer as well as a comics fan. He would examine the legal issues raised in various super hero stories. Was quite a humorous as well as interesting column. Today I discovered that Mr Ingersoll has continued writing on the subject which can be found on this website Slam_Bradley might be a consultant to the column for all I know The Law Is A Ass

How would they increase their prices? Charge more than cover price for a book? Or do they offer a discount and are not reducing it? Will that hold if publishers up the MSRP on all comics by a significant amount to recoup their own increased costs? Just sounds like a bit of an empty statement for pure marketing. -M Forbidden Planet is a British retailer. British retailers tend to price their comics at a certain number of pence to the dollar, which varies between retailers, but is typically more expensive than the current exchange rate. If the distributor adds 7.5% to the prices they charge them, Forbidden Planet would usually pass this on to their customers by adding 7.5% to the pence per dollar, but in this instance they seem to be freezing the pence per dollar and accepting making a smaller profit per item on what they sell.

Um, if it was the first Wizard Comic Book Price Guide Annual, why does the ad call it the Second Wizard Comic Book Price Guide Annual?
Or did they use the same cover on every edition?

Just read Amazing Fantasy #1000, which, among other good stories, has a sequel to The Man in The Mummy Case from AF #15. I never read AF#15, just reprints of the first Spidey story. So I was not aware of this story. In looking to find it online I discovered that not only was it a Ditko story, but every story in AF #15 was done by Ditko. That is a Comic Tidbit that should be more well known. In this blog post, the writer not only looks into the origins of Spider-Man's creation, but more importantly, posts the original art to all the stories in AF#15. ohdannyboy.blogspot.com/2013/04/who-created-amazing-spider-man-amazing.html

Saw this pic of a brilliant comic scene recreation cosplay... -M I call foul....Fire, Ice and Gypsy were not in the League, at that point. Black Canary was the sole female, and the rest should be Mister Miracle, J'onn J'onnz and Booster Gold. Nice idea, though.
