Mecha, although the "monster attacking a bridge / landmark" is a common sci-fi/horror visual trope, your cover for Moon Girl #4 (Summer, 1948 - by Sheldon Moldoff) seemed to be direct inspiration for the cover of Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen #53 (June, 1961 - cover by Curt Swan & Stan Kaye), right down to a costumed hero attacking the giant, the color of the sky and the kind of damage to the center of the bridge--  Great, vintage sci-fi cover art.
