Well today its $1.21 per liter in Airdrie Alberta Canada so that would be 4.58 dollars per american gallon . And it's produce close by .

There's a 20 cent difference within town-near our place, which is near the highway on-ramp/exit it's $3.35 a gallon, out the other side of town near where I work on the state route that will take you to Columbus eventually (only a 10 minute drive to the gas station near work actually) it's $3.15. And yet, the stations near the highway do such volume that there are 5 of them within about a quarter mile of each other (and a sixth, a Speedway about a half mile up he road going into town) and they all do well enough with that +20 cent price point.

I just paid 2.99 a gallon. That's the lowest price in about 3 years.

Freeway offramps are prime real estate. Gas is cheaper up where I used to work in the middle of nowhere. Everyone out there is fueling up with diesel so I guess that offsets the gasoline prices or something, it's consistently that much cheaper there as well.
