Formatting might be a possible issue. I know some Mexican comics, in the 60s and 70s were of a smaller size than the traditional American size. Not as small as a digest, but kind of in between.

I'm more interested in the Mexican Sgt. Fury series. That sounds nuts! Cei-U! Jua-ju! Was there a Mexican-American member of Fury's team? I remember they had a few different nationalities from various Allied countries, unless I'm mixing them up with another war comic team. And Dum Dum Dugan was presumably meant to be an Irish-American.

No, no Hispanic Howlers, and except for the British Percy Pinkerton and German defector Eric Koenig, all were American. Dum Dum was indeed of Ieish ancestry, Dino was Italian, Gabe was black, Izzy was Jewish, Reb was from Kentucky (and thus probably some blend of Scots-Irish and English), and Junior was a New England Ivy Leaguer (and thus likely pure Yankee). As for Fury, I don't know that they ever specified his ethnicity. We do know that he grew up on the Lower East Side so he could be any number of nationalities or any mix of them.
Cei-U! I summon the First Attack Squad!

It's possible the quality was substandard and thus why Marvel has never tried to release them in a TPB or another format. I wonder who the writer for the Spider-man books was. They cannot be worse than the piles of crap Marvel published in the 90s ("X"-branded everything, gimmick covers, anything from then-future Image founding members, etc.).
I would read the Stacy-related material, and consider it to be What If?-style stories.

I’ve no doubt that they are better than the 90’s books but did they stack up with 119-150?

I’ve no doubt that they are better than the 90’s books Surely not better than Maximum Carnage and/or Clonage, surely.

I never read the thread , but the point of this thread was to highlight that they created a whole new continuity in order to avoid Gwen Stacys death. My apologies for stepping on your toes and stealing your thunder.

My apologies for stepping on your toes and stealing your thunder. You misunderstand. I wasn't responding to this thread but to something on the link to CBR.com zaku posted. It said there: "It all started when twitter user David (comickeys) replied to a Twitter discussion... February 17th, 2019." I should have made that clear or at least quoted zaku's post, my bad. CBR.com reads as if this David guy on February 17th broke some kind of big news about this. I don't know much about this CBR.com but they seem to trade in something they title as 'CBR exclusives' but this is not the first time they seem to be working from things posted here much earlier.

Cool. I was shocked when I saw the story in my twitter feed and posted it here afterwards. I still would like to read the Spidey stories if they ever get published.

Privately, I think there are a few websites that, shall we say, "borrow" content or discussions from here and then post it as if it was their own idea.

There are British Spider-Man comics that have never made it across the pond as well.
