Superman still died and returned in some very different way
John Constantine still got Zatara killed in a Swamp Thing related adventure
That's pretty much all I can think of that's not different...

Or did you mean they'd disagree about most of the characters being basically the same? |

Your first post is confusing. You start by saying not much changed, then list two things that didn't change and say they are the only things that didn't change.

I was listing 3 things that were the same, then saying pretty much everything else (backstory/continuity, settings, a few characters not covered by my 1st example, ages, etc.) is different. |

Hi folks , its been a few months since I updated this . But since I owe some updates I plan on posting one this week and one next week. Anyhow in this one we look at a female character that took on a legacy role back in the late 1990's. Her change was unique for the worlds and ethnic change.  Hawkgirl is Kendra Saunders - Hawkgirl is Kendra Saunders. The story with Hawkgirl and Hawkman post Crisis on Infinite Earths is quite a mess. But for 15 years DC struggled with both characters until finally fixing it. Kendra was a young woman who died during a suicide attempt and her great Aunt Shiera Hall's soul entered her body. Hawkgirl is Kendra Munoz-Saunders from Earth 2 . The Hawkgirl of Earth 2 is Kendra Munoz-Saunders and treasure hunter. She was grafted with wings by the World Army to help them. She has no relationship with any Hawkman and its unknown if the Hawkman of Prime DCU Earth will meet her anytime soon. Its been rumored James Robinson was going to have Hawkman move to Earth 2 at some point.  Hawkgirl is Kendra Munoz-Saunders from Earth 2 . I always get a migraine headache when I try to understand who Hawkman and Hawkgirl are post crisis. Then artists began adding in spiked armour and other ugly paraphernalia to their costumes and I've completely lost interest in those characters

That is where the characters get straightened out pretty much. So many false starts and all. |

Yeah he did...but honestly the whole Hawk God and all destroyed that character. I mean I felt for the guy but Johns had to clear the decks basically.
