How about some Golden Age Hawkman? This cover is done by Mike Sekowsky and I asked for Murphy Anderson ... so this cover is disqualified; sorry Crimebuster.

Er, a bit limited in scope but seeing as my all-time fave and earliest '60s find is still available... "Lovely plummage."

This is the comic I had coverless when I was little, I remember the Hawkman was the Mystery In Space one with the motorcyclists. What an amazing collection it was! I definitely never saw it with it's cover on, you can imagine how inviting the back cover would be for some kid to make a poster of it (like we did with Mad).

The characters at the top at least are inked by Murphy Anderson. It's a bit unusual but there are three artists credited on it?: dc.fandom.com/wiki/Justice_League_of_America_Vol_1_29GCD says just Sekowsky and Anderson: www.comics.org/issue/18536/

Does Jose' Garcia Lopez's tribute to Murphy Anderson Count? It's certainly a great recreation--thanks for sharing it with us--but Mecha specified "drawn by" Anderson.

It's certainly a great recreation--thanks for sharing it with us--but Mecha specified "drawn by" Anderson. So, maybe penciled by Anderson, but definitely inked by Anderson counts? Or not?I I hope Mecha doesn't mind me stepping in like this, but I believe by "drawn by" he means covers that at are penciled by Murphy Anderson. So a different penciler being inked by Anderson doesn't count for this particular contest. Mecha, please correct me if I am mistaken or misstating what you wrote To check credits: In my experience, gcd (comics.org) has the the most up-to-date credits, as that site continually revises its credits. Other sites don't seem to, at least not with the frequency that gcd does.
