Definitely the suspenders on that Angel costume...and maybe the colours too. Is there a superhero in suspenders that looks cool? Is there anyone in suspenders that looks cool? Nanoo nanoo... -M

For me, it's all the superfluous lines that not only don't seem to add much to the designs, but in some cases actually detract from them. '90s style busywork. His original take didn't really define the look though, other artists were able to refine his look in their own books.

Anyway my nominee: I don't know what's worse, the colours or the suspenders. First time seeing this : I think it's AWESOME!

I also hate his long-sleeved black costume, but this is slightly worse. One man's trash is another man's treasure. This is by far my favorite MM look.

Daredevil is amongst my favorite characters but even he fell victim to the rampant hideous couture of the 1990's.I think the blame for this re-design is to be placed on Scott McDaniel This was the most painful costume my brain first spasmed to.

Here's a few for Power Girl that make me shudder whenever I see them: Actually digging that bottom costume.

Probably to sell action figures that don't look like undressed Ken dolls. Amd Stilt-Man is really one of your favorite characters?

I actually like the black garbed look of Namor form the Bronze Age. For me, the green speedo look is a little off-putting, especially if you have been to a beach where lots of hirsute French-Canadien middle-aged men (most of them kin for me) gather on a summer vacation in Maine. Nothing of a heroic sensibility is left in that look after that....

Running around in a speedo everywhere...I guess it works in a funnybook universe, but it's more than a bit weird. It probably doesn't hurt that he was wearing that look when I first started reading comics.

I'm still scratching my head as to why Daredevil's first Epic Collection entry features the atrocious costume above. Some kid picking that up for the first time will be scared for life. ALWAYS start with Frank Miller or Gene Colon first. Always.

Amd Stilt-Man is really one of your favorite characters? No, I just wanted to point out the stupidity of that character ... no way he's my favorite!
