I agree 100% with the Daredevil and Cap costumes posted from the 90's. Simply brutal. I disagree 100% with masked Dr. Strange. I counted that look in the old CBR countdown of coolest looks. I like classic Strange, don't get me wrong, but that costume was just so well drawn and just seemed cool. Batman has some bad ones. Obvious choice would be the nipples on the bat suit in the one movie. Or this....terrible. Robin even looks worse somehow. Good thing it was a one off looking at some of Bruce Wayne's designs.  My favourite character is Spidey and nothing pains me more than this. What were they thinking? As someone who dislikes Superman, the fact they gave Spidey the ability to fly and then also gave him this mish mash costume just bothered me.  ... I just can't believe Batman and Spiderman pictures - Like an old Saying a Picture worth a Thousand Words ... who ever coined that term is rightly so. |

One of my favorite character is Zatanna and she's in my top 10 (actually she Number 10) in my Countdown in my 50 Greatest DC Comics Heroes. _042.jpg/500px-Zatanna_Zatara_(New_Earth)_042.jpg) What they were thinking when they did this to her? ... I just can't stand this costume at all. So bad. What else is there to say. |

I really liked the way she looked in several issues of Detective Comics, written by Paul Dini, and that was very close to this design. It's a great look for her.
But I admit, I also like that costume she wore in the JLA through the 1980s, where she had a lobster on her head.

I've never seen this one. Put Zatanna in the same category with Supergirl and Power Girl as heroines with multiple bad costumes.
(Although I think Supergirl ultimately "wins.")

I decided not to pick out a definitive worst (who has the time or inclination to look at that many bad Supergirl costumes?), I decided rather to just post the first costume that caught my eye when I googled "bad supergirl costume adventure comics."  (I expanded the search a bit because "bad supergirl costume" was interpreted with "bad supergirl" as an adjective synonymous with "naughty supergirl" and I got a bunch of costumes that I don't think Supergirl ever wore in the comics.) |

Least favorite for my favorite Marvel character? Huh, my polar opposite doppelgänger, there you are. : -) I've always though the symbiotie costume has been a perfect design, not just Spidey, but of the majority of any superhero costume. It's simplicity it just awesome. |

Neither would I, but it the (extremely unlikely) event that it was a choice between her dressed like that and her identical twin dressed in the top hat, tails and fishnets combo, I know who'd win.  |
