Just got back from Post Office.. USPS claims will be there Thurs  (I couldn't ship direct, as i had something local I wanted to put with is, so had to wait for gift to arrive here to combine!). woot woot. |

Tonight is the first night in a LONG while where I have had a night off from being a single dad and (thus) time to focus on my CCF life. I finally got a chance to piece together what I'll be shipping off tomorrow, and I'm really excited about it.
I was so busy planning this out that it never occurred to me that I'd be getting a package from Santa this very same evening. I was caught so unprepared by this that I haven't yet decided when I am going to open it. I figure it's far more fun to let the anticipation build, and as I instantly recognized Santa's return address, I'm doubly sure I have VERY good reason to be excited.

I just got home from a 11 and a half hour tour delivering mail to find a nice Secret Santa package waiting for me. I'm opening it tonight and posting pictures. |

Well holy sh**. I decided I couldn't wait any longer and opened my package from Santa.  I worry that my own family won't be able to outdo this. Everything I possibly could have wanted, and far far too much of it! Heck, I'd been planning to pick up the Donald Duck Hamlet volume, had toyed with getting the Phantom of the Opera Mego figure and Scrooge action figure, and had been wanting those DC metalfigs ever since a certain @mrp posted about the cool Batcave playset from that series. Santa is either a brilliant bargain hunter or doesn't understand a $15-20 limit. Either way, I'm not complaining! I am in holiday heaven right now. Thank you so much, Santa!! |

something arrived addressed to me from Centerville, MA (so I'm assuming it's my CCF Secret Santa, since no name was attached) will open it up a week from Sun on the 1st night of Hanukkah. thanks in advance to whomever sent me whatever  I'll be sure to post back what it is once I open. |
