I think folks are touching on an important distinction. For day-to-day cleaning, I prefer a shower as it's more efficient on time and water, and mentally I don't like sitting in my mess. Bathing is usually for a purpose for me -aches and pains, want to relax and fall asleep, etc. I haven't regularly taken a bath as a primary cleaning method probably since I was a kid. So, they are different use cases and not really interchangeable for me.

I just take whatever is available, had to learn, even can wash my hair in a shower, but bath if possible (dream is to have my very own bath tub for just me).

Both - I like a jacuzzi filled with bubble bath and I have a bit more self-time these days. Climb into that, relax, and watch a crazy movie like Hereditary or the Exorcism of Hannah Grace.
Shower works fine for everything else.

Another thing about baths is that the water gets cold very quickly.

Shpwers all the way.
I did try having a bath a few years ago for the first time in decades as therapy recommended for a lower back problem but it didn't do anything for me. I actually found it more uncomfortable than relaxing, so if anything it was counter-productive.

Which One today: Dr. Fate or Doctor Strange? While I like Fate's costume and the Egyptian influences, Strange has had better stories and ideas surrounding him and his magics. Those Ditko Doctor Strange's are still some of the best mystical adventures to be found! I also really enjoyed Colan's turn for portraying the darker mystical world of Doc Strange. And he has a cloak of levitation and an all seeing eye of Agomotto to assist him in his duties as Sorcerer Supreme.

When Dr. Fate is well written I really like that work but it's been incredibly rare.

Which One today: Dr. Fate or Doctor Strange? Dr. Fate all day everyday. Drank up 85's Immortal Doctor Fate collection series and the 87 mini-series like water. Really wish the Dr. Fate Archives weren't so damned hard to get a hold of. A lot of people didn't particularly care for the recent Doctor Fate series by Levitz, but I didn't think it was half bad
Never personally was a fan of how Marvel handled magic, it always seemed like an after thought

Doctor Fate or Doctor Strange and you're a cruel bastid for it if I had to choose, I'd lean towards Strange for the sheer volume of quality material featuring him, but there's been a lot of drek too. But it would be a gut-wrenching fan choice for me. In perspective though, if it were the toughest choice I ever had to make I would consider myself damn lucky. -M

Dr. Strange. Particularly Lee/Ditko Dr. Strange and Englehart/Brunner Dr. Strange.

Dr. Strange easily - the Ditko/Lee and the Englehart/Brunner, but also the gene Colan and even the Dan Adkins runs for the artwork.
I've hardly read any Dr. Fate. Steve Gerber was just starting to do something interestng with the character when he died.

I like the concept and character of Dr Fate more than Dr Strange. But I enjoy reading Dr Strange more. Maybe I just haven't read the "right" Dr Fate stories for him to come off the page more for me than just in concept.

Yeah, maybe it's just my ignorance of things DC in general but I'm not aware of any classic Dr. Fate series or runs like the Ditko or Englehart Strange, or favourite artists like Colan or Brunner being associated with the character. If there are any classic Dr. Fate runs or even single issues I'd like to check them out, depending on the creators involved.

If there are any classic Dr. Fate runs or even single issues I'd like to check them out, depending on the creators involved. The first half dozen Doc Fate stories in More Fun by Fox and Sherman are a tour de force in Lovecraftian storytelling that put the efforts in Doc Strange to evoke Lovecraft to shame, but Sherman's art is typical golden age far. The one shot in First Issue Special #9 is perhaps my second favorite Doc Fate story overall, cover by Joe Kubert, story by Martin Pasko art by Walt Simonson. The back ups that ran in Flash (and collected in Immortal Dr. Fate #2 and 3) by Pasko and Keith Giffen are also very, very good. I am also fond of the initial arc on the Giffen/DeMatteis Justice League in which Fate and his myths figure prominently (The Grey Man was an interesting concept/villain). And lastly, the Darwyn Cooke Dr. Fate story from JSA All Stars #3 is simply perfection... it is reprinted in the Art of Darwyn Cooke volumes DC did as well. -M
