Which One shall it be? Cape or no Cape for a hero or villain? While some of the caped crusaders may look super or darkly cool in their flowing capes, I believe my vote will be for No Cape. A cape would only get in the way in reality, causing more of a problem and hindrance. Hence wrestlers do love their fancy and flashy capes during a grand, brassy and bold entrance but when it is time for gettin' down and dirty the cape comes off!
Certain characters can pull off the cape in style like Supes, Bats, Shazam, Dr. Strange or others where a cape is an essential and necessary fashion accessory. But most can do without that blanket across the back.
What's your vote?

My default is No Cape. There has to be a really good reason for a cape.

I'm not sure... Storm in The X-Men has the coolest cape, it doesn't seem like one that could get in the way at all. On the other hand, that baddest mutha of all, Phoenix, didn't have one. Decisions, decisions...

Cape is fine. No cape is also fine.

I liked the idea that Moon Knight's cape served a practical purpose in that it could function as a hang-glider. Of course, visually, that wasn't particularly convincing, but come on, it's superhero comics!

For looks capes are cool. Especially like Batman or Moon Knight, the "darker" heroes.
For practicality; no capes. We all know why Edna said "No capes!!"

Have they kept Moon Knight's glider cape as part of his kit, BTW? I know Sienkiewicz switched the look to the more traditional-looking Batman-style cape but I think it was still supposed to have the glider fnctionality, for a while at least.
Moondragon's cape was good too, because it gave her two looks - the revealing Vampirella-style swimsuit and the austere head-to-foot collar and cloak. It was the contrast that made it effective, something that was lost in the later redesigns that I've seen.

I can't think of any design with a cape I'd prefer without, or any design without a cape I feel would benefit from the addition. Even if I just think of favorite character designs, it's still pretty evenly split. But, when I think "superhero" I think "cape", so I guess I'll go with cape.

Mary Marvel and Supergirl had capes, Spider-Woman and Ms. Marvel didn't. Capes seem to be more of a retro accessory. If I was somewhere north I might want a furry lined cape, in a warmer place any cape might be more of a nuisance. It didn't work out for Paul Simon. No, still can't decide.

This is no 'yes or no' answer to this question. It depends entirely on the character.
Batman, Superman, Doctor Strange, Moon Knight, the Shroud, etc: Cape!
Captain America, Green Arrow, Daredevil, Spider-Man, eyc: No cape.
Deadpool, Wolverine, Cable, whoever the flavour of the month is at the moment: Who cares?

(but honestly, it works for certain heroes, and not for others) Big honorable mention props to Todd McFarlane though, as he drew Batman's cape ridiculously long and unrealistic but I loved every minute of it.

Which One is your android capable of duplicating powers of the heroes? Does Amazo or Super Adaptoid flip your switch?
Super Adaptoid in all his green glory is my destructive android of choice. His visual is just much better than Amazo with his skull cap, pointy ears (wht?) and those rainbow suspenders. I don't believe any Amazo story has stuck in my mind but Adqptoid has made his mark for me in a few stories and that original John Buscema cover has always stood out in my memory.

I agree @chintzybeatnik Love how McFarlane basically drew Batman just like Spawn.
