sword & sorcery cartoons-I've seen 5 of the 8... haven't seen Pirates of the Dark Water,Berserker, or the 2002 He-Man. -M Pirates of Darkwater wasn't bad.

I love this. Such an inadvertently deep reflection on human nature.
How often do we find ourselves thinking "I can't believe I just did that"?

When I was in the Navy, we used to get a regular message release, called the Summary of Mishaps, which was filled with stupidity and rather snarky "Lessons Learned" at the end. A regular one was some idiot, on Petty Officer of the Watch duty, or gate duty, with a sidearm, practicing his quick draw and shooting himself in the foot or leg (with a.45, which will hurt; that video must have a much lighter caliber or that guy has a super high pain threshold). The really stupid part was, in those days, stateside, you did not have a loaded weapon. The Petty Officer of the Watch, for reasons like that, carried an empty M1911A1 pistol, with two loaded magazines in an ammo pouch, but not inserted into the weapon. Obviously, in a hightened state of alert, they would carry a loaded weapon (and in foreign ports). So, that meant the jackass inserted a magazine into the weapon, chambered a round and was then practicing his quick draw! The best Summary of Mishaps I ever saw, told the following story: While in a meeting in the wardroom (the officer's mess), the phone rang and the Chief Engineer and Executive Officer raced to grab the phone (which would have been mounted to the bulkhead, for safety, in high seas, with the receiver locked onto a spindle). The XO got there first, grabbed the phone and pulled it back rapidly to keep it away from the CHENG. In so doing, he slammed the receiver directly into the head of the CHENG and knocked him out, cold. The "Lessons Learned" section read: "When racing the XO for the phone, always wear a cranial! This is a cranial...

My favorite video from the Pretenders...
Just a brilliant idea, since their name sounds like a 1960s ITV adventure series. Chrissy Hynde would make a pretty good partner for Steed.
