Crowflame-looks like The Crow (but no feet and 84 molars), but acts like the Human Torch!

Call me Blood Shot. I use bullets made of frozen blood which are HIV positive. The untraceable ultimate assassin.
Or the unerringly accurate killer trained in secrecy by a covert government agency (choose the initials you like, doesn't matter as it's so secret hush hush nobody knows and all those who trained me are dead) whose shots to the head or heart is the ultimate death sentence to the scum of criminal's across the world.

Wasn't this "Liefeld name" thing posted in this thread about a year or two ago? I remember some speculation about the unfortunate individual who gets stuck with Bladeblade or Blaydeblade...

I am OverForce!
Gaze upon my tiny head and my pouch buttons and my deformed feet, and tremble!

Yeah, maybe in the earlier pages of this thread. I always loved when he, MacFarlane and Stan Lee created Over-Kill, for one of those Stabur video episodes. They had a joint copyright; but, McFarlane used it as Overt-Kill, in Spawn, to avoid the legal issue. I laughed my head off at that name...."What, as opposed to 'Covert-Kill'?" Early Image was an endless source for sarcastic amusement. Sure they laughed their way to the bank; but, the jokes about their comics were way more entertaining then actually reading the majority of them. Your mileage may vary, of course.

I tried combinations of those names, and each one sounds so ridiculous, that I could not stop laughing! Its SOOOOO indicative of bad 1990s comics!

I'm Gun Steel, damn, now I have found new respect for Rob Liefeld.
Or so I thought, just looked at his artwork and it's easier for a vampire to stare at a cross.

I'm "Cablewhip"! I...whip you with a cable. Or maybe I'm a dessert topping Wasn't this "Liefeld name" thing posted in this thread about a year or two ago? I remember some speculation about the unfortunate individual who gets stuck with Bladeblade or Blaydeblade... Edo! Absolutely no reason for you to remember me, but I used to occasionally post on Bronze Age Babies, and I remember your posts well. That was a great site, I really enjoyed all the content Karen and Doug and the main regulars like yourself used to post.

Here is a Liefeld cover up for auction right now. Whole lotta swiping going on. I think mainly Jim Lee. Does not look like Liefeld figures. The feet are too good. Champions #26 Variant

(...) Edo! Absolutely no reason for you to remember me, but I used to occasionally post on Bronze Age Babies, and I remember your posts well. That was a great site, I really enjoyed all the content Karen and Doug and the main regulars like yourself used to post. Were you using the same nym (i.e., 'supercat')? I don't remember seeing that one, although I recall most of the folks that posted there, even occasionally. And yeah, I really miss that site, but all good things, etc. At least the site's still up, with all posts and comments, so there's that. Don't know if you knew, but Doug briefly had a sort of follow-up blog, Black & White & Bronze, dedicated (as the name indicates) to black & white comics mainly from the 1970s. He didn't post as frequently there, and he shuttered it in late 2019. Since then, both he and Karen have done a few special 'Super Blog Team-up' posts at the BAB, but that's about it. Doug still posts stuff on the BAB twitter account, though. (Another BAB 'follow-up' blog is Back in the Bronze Age, hosted by another frequent BAB commenter, Redartz, had a pretty good start, but sort of fizzled out, and now it's down to weekly discussion posts.) Otherwise, Karen now has her own blog, Echoes from the Satellite, where she occasionally posts about SF, comics and other pop culture stuff. She's also one of the three hosts of the Planet 8 podcast (also covering topics of interest to us geeks).
