Mystery in Space #85 Adventure Comics #311 (The Legion of Substitute Heroes declares war on the Legion of Super-Heroes!) Detective Comics #318 (Catman! Batwoman! Ace the Bat-hound!) Star-Spangled War Stories Vol 1 110 (I don't know much about this, and I'm not into war comics a lot, but it's got a dinosaur on the cover!) Action Comics #303 (It's got Supergirl riding some kind of Kryptonian dinosaur!)

The DC and Marvel release schedules left me just enough room for a Gold Key super-hero this month.
Amazing Spider-Man #4 ($.12) Atom #8 ($.12) Doctor Solar #5 ($.12) Fantastic Four #18 ($.12) Flash #138 ($.12) Journey into Mystery #95 ($.12) Justice League of America #21 ($.12) Strange Tales #112 ($.12) Tales of Suspense #45 ($.12) Tales to Astonish #47 ($.12)
I'm gonna have to mug a kindergartner or two, though, so I can pick up the Strange Tales Annual.
Cei-U! I summon the water pistol!

Adventure Comics #311 (love the Subs) Amazing Spider-Man #4 Detective #318 (Cat-Man plus a Kathy Kane "Cat-Woman"!) Doctor Solar #5 Fantastic Four #18 JLA #21 (the great JLA/JSA team-up tradition begins) Space Family Robinson #4 (possibly my favorite cover from that series) Tarzan #137 Voyage to the Deep #3
And since it's a time machine and my wife by sheer coincidence asked me to track down this very issue a few days ago, I'll round things off with Barbie and Ken #4!

Action #303 (Yeah, I have to read this!)
Adventure Comics #311
Amazing Spider-Man #4 (One of the greatest comics ever!)
Batman #157 (This is one of the Great Batman stories of the late Schiff era! It reminds of that episode of The Simpsons where Homer is dressed as Krusty, so there’s two Krustys, and Fat Tony’s hitmem can’t figure out which one to kill.)
Detective Comics #318 (One of my top five issues of Detective!)
Kid Colt Outlaw #112
Little Dot #88
Little Dot Dotland #8
My Greatest Adventure #81 (Rita Farr!)
Patsy Walker #108

June 1963, I'll get these: Adventure #311: The Legion and the Subs? Fantastic cover--what a clever way to showcase all the characters! And with just a couple of exceptions, from this ish forward the Legion takes over the cover--yay! DC, 12 cents Bonanza #4: Gold Key, 12 cents Detective #318: Batwoman! DC, 12 cents Fantastic Four #18: Marvel, 12 cents Giant Lois Lane Annual #2: I will never pass up a Lois Giant. Never. DC, 25 cents and worth it! Justice League of America #21: JSA meet JLA. Like the Adventure cover, who wouldn't fall in love with that cover and all those characters?? DC, 12 cents Metal Men # 3: loving this new series. DC, 12 cents My Greatest Adventure # 81: loving this new team. DC, 12 cents. I think I like the Metal Men and the Doom Patrol more than the FF! Lois Lane # 43: DC, 12 cents And yes, I had to use another penny from my piggy bank to pay for all this, as the grand total (once again, thanks to the Giant) is $1.21

Amazing Spider-Man #4 (another great villain for Spidey to fight) Adventures of the Jaguar #13 (looks pretty action packed) Doctor Solar #5 (they keep sucking me in with those painted covers) JLA #21 (this looks like the highlight of the month) Tales of Suspense #45 (might check out this Iron Man guy) Superman Annual #7 (8 stories for a quarter? Sure) Strange Tales Annual #2 (Only one superhero related story, but this looks like an essential one that I dont want to pass up) That leaves me with 10 cents, so I'll get some trading cards to finish.
